I'll stop by every once in awhile but there is a huge convention going on where I can find all sorts of great deals, so I'm probably not gonna stay to hang out.

    Yeah the booth.
Or hangout spot. Whatever you wish to call it. I just need someplace to plant my body at the con. Or maybe I'll go out and do a tour of Chicago? Maybe see a show??

I might be hanging out in a Fisto costume!!!!

Depends if I drive or fly. I wonder if I can carry a big custom fist on a plane. I bet I have to check it.
    If I advance, follow me.
If I stop, urge me forward.
    If I retreat, kill me.

You can pretty much find almost anything here. It's the biggest con in the USA. *Yay!*

I've been going to Wizard World for I think 6 or 7 years now (I'm only 20) and seeing a He-Man.org booth would be cool, but unfortunately I don't know anyone from here.

Well, that's how you meet others.
Just come on by. It's more of a hang-out-let's-rest spot, or meeting place. People will come and go by the booth.

That is awesome I was telling my room mates last night before I read this that we (all the .org) members should go out to wally world and by the "hulk" or "the thing" hands and paint one silver. All of us walking around with a big metal fist and wearing .org shirts would grab some attention.....and since I'm red headed anyway, I have enough time to grow a beard HAHA

No they are not, As long as you are RESPONSIBLE and don't spend what you don't have then you don't pay interest. I love mine. Frequent flyer miles rule. I've had my american express for less than a year and I already have 3 free plane tickets to anywhere in the continental US.

Would my girlfriend be bored there?

I'm not sure that I can go, but I was wondering if alot of .orgers would be bringing their wives and girlfriends so that my girlfriend wouldn't be bored by what she'd call a bunch of grown men talking about toys. She tends to get bored when I take her with me to the comic shop, and guitar center.

Well I am female and I'm going.
Judith is going along with Rainbow Brite.

There could be others that I dont know about such as wives of .orgers.
You dont have to stay long at the booth..maybe just stop by and say hi and then contiune on your marry way. Whatever you feel comfortable doing. However, if shes not into comics, cards, toys etc. you're right she might be a little bored.

I took my girlfriend in 2003, she actually drove me and a few of my other friends. If you guys can afford it, let her bring a friend a long. I did and 1) it kept her out of my hair and 2) it stopped her *****ing because she had her friend to hang out and they went off looking at their own things.

I plan to go, and my gf (or I guess fiance, I should say - I'm still getting used to that) will likely be going with me. I went all 3 days laster year, and she came with me for one of them. WWC is only about a 45 minute drive from where I live. After she went for the one day last year, she said that she'd like to go for all 3 this year, but I was checking the list of what and who is going to be there, and beyond the Randor statue and Andy Hallett from Angel, there's really not that many special guests, etc that we are particularly interested in seeing. I was surprised because I didn't even seeing Kevin Smith on the guest list anywhere (I am a huge fan of his), and he is usually there every year. So, right now we are talking about going for only one day, which will probably be Saturday. Aside from those 2 things I previously mentioned (and stopping by the He-man.org area that Val is setting up, of course), we are mostly interested in seeing what dealers are selling and things of that nature, and that really won't take 3 days either.

So, I really, really hope to get a Randor statue that day. For me personally, having more chances at getting him was one of my main reasons for wanting to go for all 3 days (the other reason for both my gf and I was to maximize our chances to meet Kevin Smith, but he doesn't seem to be on the list). But as far as the Randor goes, even if I don't manage to get one that day, the amount of cash that we are saving between tickets, parking, gas, and other $ we would just end up spending if we went the other 2 days, I could buy one on ebay for about that same $ or less, so that just makes the most sense.

But, again, I do plan on stopping by the He-man.org area, and it will be cool to meet others from this message board.
