Wow. I'm no fan of the character, so I was expecting to see something that would make me hit the back button right away. Every so often I get proven wrong. Excellent artwork, and nice character description!

Great art and a nice redesign too! I'm not a big fan of Madame Razz but this is good stuff!

All I know about the character is that she's from She-Ra, but there's no denying it's a great piece of artwork. Nice job!

Your rendering is just beautiful- you haven't overdone it at all, it has a nice, loose, raw feel to it- it goes nice with your animated style.

Keep it up- and keep up the colouring style- don't get too intricate, because this rendering approach works perfect. I still say it's the best stuff I've seen here yet!!

Just saw Broom and It is EXCELLENT !!! Razz and Broom are really goofy characters but you made them look serious buisness. Very cool

Thanks guys. Broom was a little tricky to do at first.
Once I figured out which way I was going to go though, the drawing went really fast.

I haven't finished his little back story yet.
I think he's an ancient wood spirit/being that was petrified by a magic spell. Then during his "unconscious" years his kind became extinct, or evolved into things more like the Twiggets. Then someone thought that he'd make a good broom, and did some carving, and added the straw. Then MADAM RAZZ bought him at a market while on a trip away from Whispering Woods.
Over time she realized that there was a spirit still in the wood of the broom.
Then thanks to the Twiggets' Magic and her own she was able to undo the petrify spell.
And now he's "BROOM".

It still may change, but that's what I'm thinking for now.

Yeah! Your Broom rocks! Very well done indeed and I like the backstory equally. He must feel most indignified at being turned into a broom. Just picture him with a pompous British accent saying stuff like: "Oh, the indignity of it all! Thousands of years of being petrified and this is what I get!? I must be made to suffer..."

I'm still amazed how much you all like my redesign.
This was such a disliked character, by so many for so long.

I may have to make Lizard-Man, He is yet another Character in need of some love from the fans.
Mosquitor may have to get the BBM treatment some day too.
As for Hordak, though, I love what 4H did with the character, and I don't want to step on their shoes at all.
If anything I would maybe do a Classic style version that looks more Techno than mystic, with the Bluer skin. (for the Old Toon sake)

Can I just say, I love that Broom re-design - and what I love the most is the concept of Madame talking to him like he's real. Can you imagine the other's reactions when she talks t inanimate objects - she'd be billed as this crazy gypsy-type. I love it!

The directors and writers respectively could have a lot of fun with a character like this. And it's a great way to see a character who probably wouldn't 'talk' in an updated version (if MYP had anything to do with it) actually do so...
