Post a thread in the New Masters too. Some people don't come to the classic so they might not see this. Trust me there are alot more die hard fans that just didn't see this yet. If your serious about doing this go on He-Bro's site and the 4H site and all other MOTU related message boards and let it be known that your thinking of doing this but need the support to go forward.

I wish you luck and I WILL ATTEND ANY WHERE IN THE US!

I'd go, but only if it was on the East Coast.

I would definitley go. The 80's idea is great too and there is a lot more of a fan base with a general 80's theme. I don't know why everyone thinks it would be such a big cost. It could be held at a smaller hotel at first and then expand later as it gets advertised more and more people are aware of it.

I'm disagreeing with Divia. He-Con is San Diego Comic Con. Heck of a lot bigger, and more people there for He-Man stuff.

I disgaree... SDCC is a bigger convention, but more He-Man fans go to WWC.

I dunno about that. Just about everyone I meet while purchasing the exclusives, near the MOTU-related booths and hanging out in various lines with my MOTU shirt on is either on the boards or lurks. And that's a lot of people. It's just you knew more people at Chicago

Well, did you guys have two dinners with over 20 people attending?
Did you have a booth were He-man fans sat, chilled talked and meet each other?

WWC is where more .orgers go and really thats all that matters
Sure SD is bigger, but not as many .orgers go to that as WWC. And thats just the way it is. Sorry to say but only a handful went to SD while over 60 something went to WWC. It would be cool to go to SD but lets face it, for the majority of us it wont ever happen. Its too far and is too much $$. Chicago is nice cause its a central location.

More He-Fans from the Org do, in fact, go to Chicago instead of San Diego.
    That's the truth.

I'm a little confused, are you guys saying that WWC or SDCC are like a he-con because there are that many fans or because there are he-man related panels or displays? Cause I didn't really see either at SDCC and I can't imagine much of that was at WWC. I really don't see a comparison to a he-man or even 80's only convention.

What I am saying is that WWC is more like a he-man convention because of the people that are there. I know there have been other threads like this that have wanted everyone associated with he-man to get together, and I would have to say that at WWC you get more ppl. If you want 80s toys..well then no I guess WWC wouldnt have that. I mean it has some toys, but really what made WWC great was all us fans. And SD only had MOTU panel this year, its not as if its gonna be a constant thing.

Who would you want to hang out with at a "He-Con"? Random people you do not know or 40+ people that you know from the message board? I will go with the message board.

As Val and Div already said, WWC is where most of the people from the .Org show up. Believe me, as I've been to both, I agree that SDCC is way bigger and I am sure contains your typical "casual" fan, but WWC has "the power" when it comes to He-Fans.

SDCC may have felt like a He-Con this year since we were spoiled with Lou and the Crew, but that is not something that would be happening on a constant basis, where as at WWC we all meet up, interact, and have a great, fun time.

    Question

Does anyone actually think a He-Con would do bad?

I mean you got us the die-hards. What about your friends the closet fans that rush inito your collection when they come over and ask you questions. Also what about those that don't know about us the ORG. And are totally in the dark about MOTU and the merch out there.

I think that if there is a He-Con only the best could come out of it.
