Yeah. Filmation should actually include He-Man and She-Ra. That's what I would've voted for.

Yeh MYP is my fav. I know I fell in love with Filmation & thats wat got me hooked on He-Man/She-Ra in the first place but wen I saw 200x it just rocked my world.

I was dieing 4 She-Ra to b introduced but as we all know sadly it was axed b4 She-Ra was introduced.

I always imagine how awesome She-Ra would of been in 200x & how she would of been a Warrior & would of kicked butt & I always imagine HE-MAN going up against Hordak & how it would of been a real struggle for He-Man.

Then I think of how cool it would of been to see She-Ra & He-Man team up against Hordak & The Snakemen. FAR OUT could of been outstanding.

I also agree that He-Man 200X was getting so good in season 2 & it was such a shame 2 see it end.

It was always good but it was on it's way to be one of the truly great animated series.
Each to their own, but I found the Snakemen eps virtually unwatchable - both their intro in S1, and then most of S2.

They were an incredibly transparent attempt at taking a step up the Sorting Algorithm of Evil that, in practice, required most of the existing characters (Sorceress & Skeletor, in particular) to have had a total lobotomy to pose a threat, and generally were toyetic non-entities that succeeded only in irritating the hell out of me every time they appeared on-screen.

I use to love the original 80's series

but recently I have been watching the 2002 series and I like it better as alot of origin stories in it plus its a bit darker for the older watcher than the original series

Absolutely the Filmation shows (She-ra first than He-man).
Than MYP version (good and enjoyable).
    Last NA (I never liked).

I have always wondered, what it would've been like to watch the MYP series as a kid. I think it's the best MOTU cartoon and ended way too soon. I grew up with Filmation, but MYP reignited my love for MOTU, like none other.

Classic: grew up with this show but nowadays have a real hard time watching and getting thru more than 3 episodes at a time.
She-Ra: meh, it was alright...just never really got into it. same problems as with Classic...2/3 episodes and then meh.
NA: yeah...no. other than the good looking intro, the continuities with the original, and some handful of episodes here and there, this was not by favorite of the bunch
MYP: best of the bunch, still had its problems like episodic nature of the first season, goofiness here and there but the second half of the series wins it for me.

Filmation He-Man. This thread is biased though since it actually originally started in the 200X forum when we had 200X, She-Ra, and Vintage MOTU split out into their own forums.

I only remember seeing about 10 episodes when it was on TV. I didn't really get into MOTU until 2010 when I found an MYP DVD in the bargain bin one day. And the rest is history.

Filmation, then a toss-up between She-Ra and NA.
