Who is Your Favorite Star Wars Character?

Who is your favorite Star Wars character from the movies (originals or prequels)? If you have a favorite toy from Star Wars, what is it?

My favorite character is Luke Skywalker. I particularly love him in Return of the Jedi. It was fun seeing him finally as a Jedi. Han Solo, Darth Vader, and Boba Fett are my runner-ups.

My favorite toy growing up was the Rancor Monster. A big toy that could kick some butt. Out of the newer stuff, I really dig the Darth Vader Unleashed in the Best Buy package.

Seriously, if I had the space I'd collect Yoda memorabilia - as it is I own two versions of the Interactive Yoda! (The original, Ep1 version and the recent Call Upon Yoda.)

My other favourite character is Darth Vader - so much depth to the character, and such a cool-looking and iconic bad guy!

Originals- Han Solo, Darth Vader, and Boba Fett. I thought Leia in bounty hunter gear was pretty dope too.

Prequels- Obi Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, and Darth Maul.

Palpatine. Because he's so evil. Also he was portrayed by a really talented actor. I was convinced.

Anakin Skywalker is really up there too, he's just such an interesting character, the fallen angel of the Star Wars Universe.

Gotta love that little droid, R2-D2. Been my favorite since I was a kid.

Lord Vader and Master Windu.

Seriously, though, the original trilogy Obi-Wan Kenobi.

This is a hard one.

I've always loved Vader, Yoda, and Ben Kenobi through much of my life and even through the prequel trilogy.

At the end of the day as I'm older, I'd have to go with Yoda.
However Obi Wan is at a VERY close second.

Boba Fett. Thats all I collect!

Luke Skywalker was always my favorite. He was my first on screen fictional character crush. It helps that my ideal man looks kinda like Mark Hamill, and I got lucky with my husband. I still have my old official Mark Hamill fan club card.

My other favorite has always been Obi Wan.

I was a big Leia fan from ANH.

Boba Fett, Jango Fett, Darth Vader, and Darth Maul!!!!!!!!!!

Yoda, Vader, Chewie, and Han take the top 4 spots in my book followed by Queen Amidala (only cause I like Natalie Portman), and then Anakin in Episode 3

Prequel: Foul Modama HE WAS A BAD ASS TEDDY BEAR YO!

Original: Princess Leia- I loved her inner turmoil trying to be sooo tough but really have such a big heart and being so hard to crack open and allow her vulnerability to show.

Prequel: Padme- She is who her daughter would have become had the Republic Survived and she is the embodiment of a true "civil servant", she fights for what is right and just and dosen't care who she drags through the fire when she does. It is her story and that of Anakin that demonstrates why the Jedi order is failing and why there must be a balance... Padme's total giving of herself to civil service (and bits that were not shown in the theater but were on the DVDs) give and idea of just how low the Republic has fallen. Padme, after the disaster on Naboo is left with little reason to believe the Republic is functioning and she takes on the task of changing this placing herself at risk...The Jedi order forbids its members (save a rare few) to marry or love, this too is a failing one Luke and Leia will disprove, but in denying love they are the ones who isolate from the real world (like Padme until Anakin takes her heart) and this makes them both vulnerable and easily mislead despite their powers. It is a sad and painful trail Padme must traverse only to die consumed by that which brought her the most joy and taught her to see the balance between life, work and family.

My top three:

Obi-Wan. In the both serieses, he was the Man. Easily. He had also my favourite character arc in the series. The full circle of Jedi from an apprentice to a knight to a master to becoming one with the force.

Wedge - the only guy who took part in destroying both Death Stars (and the battle of Hoth) and lived to tell about it. Forget the big-name celebs, he's the real hero of the Rebellion.

Sam Jackson (Mace Windu who?) - he woulda handed Mr. Palpatine his imperial arse if the gothboy would not have interfered. And had BMF inscribed into his lightsabre hilt.

from the Originals I would have to say Leia and Han. Both as indivduals and as a couple they are the best.

From the prequels Ekk, thats harder. I did like Amidala but then they turned her into a weak woman in the end. Anakin was cool. I like Aayla..she is prob my fav from the prequels, but much to my dismay she never spoke and most of what we get from her is from the comics...so does that count

Darth Vader, He has allways been a personal favorite of mine. Seeing him at the end of the pre-quels ( EP. III ) was the best.
I'm also a pretty big fan of Obi-won, Mace Windou, and the little green guy, Yoda.

Probably Yoda and Palpatine in the old...and new trilogies, as well as Obi Wan Kenobi.

Personal favourite for me though is Nute Gunray, the hat wearing, pseudo chinese accented villain from the prequels

Darth Maul by far! Even though he went out like a chump, he is my fav character. I wish they would have kept him alive, till epIII, instead of introducing the mediocre Douku. Would have been a serious challenge for Obi not to turn to the dark side when encountering the Sith who killed his master. Anyways, I digress. Second fav is Luke: Got to do the electric boogaloo with the emperor and lived to talk about it, what's not to like?

Luke Skywalker has always been my favorite, because he had my name, and as I kid that was the only cool story with my name in it.

Since I got called Skywalker alot as a kid (still do from time to time, since people thing that Ive never been called that and its sooooo original, that and the "I am your Father" bit, but I think Ive complained about that before here)
I just got used to it, and so I was the big Star Wars fan kid.

After all of the movies, Luke is still my favorite.
