I love this game... it is definately harder that the first one (tougher solos!).

Puttin' in some good time on this game. I'm currently stuck on Jane's Addiction - Stop (Hard)... it's got my number!

I'm also working on getting 5-stars on all songs in Medium. I've gotten all except The Living End's "Carry Me Home". I've tried it sooo many times now and the best I've done is 96% and still only got 4-stars! At this point I think it's psychological. I need to have a few brewskys and try it again. I'm not giving up yet!

Dude I'm doing the same thing. That one took me a while but I got it. Now the only one I need to do is that stupid Suicidal Tendancies song. I just can't get it. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!

GH2 is definitely harder than the first. I didn't pick up the first one until about a month before the new one, and coudln't even begin to beat any songs on hard mode. Now after playing the new one all weekend, I went back to the first, and beat every song on Hard mode with minimal fuss!

For GH2, I've got 100% perfect scores for every song on easy, (including all bonus tracks) and I'm working on 100% for every song on medium, then it's on to Hard mode....

Sorry I haven't looked in here in a while but looks like Drunken Fist answered your question. I ordered mine last week and it was back ordered. The guy said that they should be getting some in this week. Hopefully I get it soon. I like playing with the wireless better. I also ordered the Double Range Freedom V at the same time. They are not getting those until next month and they said they will try to get them out before Christmas.

Anyway, this game is definitely harder than the first one but it seems like I'm doing better on this than the first one. I've gotten five stars on easy my first time around. I just need to go back and try to get perfect on all of them. Somehow my guitar double strums on its own sometimes and prevents me from getting a perfect. Hammer ons have been alot easier to pull off. I can never seem to do them very well on the first one.

My favorite song to play so far is Monkey Wrench.

That's what I try to do. I always play through career on medium first, then on easy just for the sake of doing it on easy(and, in GH2, for the guitars). I found easy mode in GH2 much easier than in GH1, but that may be because I have the experience of the first game now, whereas it was new to me with the first game. In Gh1, I have 100% on every song in Easy and all but a couple in Medium (Cowboys from Hell, Bark at the Moon, and one of those bonus tracks). In GH2, I got almost every song in Easy 100% the first time, most of them were just pathetically easy. I got 100% on the rest of them on the second try. In Medium, the only song I didn't 5-star on the first try was that stupid Suicidal Tendencies song. Took me 3 tries. I'm working on getting 100% on all Medium; I've got about half of 'em now. It's taking longer than on the first game, 'cause now I have 2 guitars and I keep playing on co-op, and not so much in career. I've only done a few in Hard mode in GH2; once every couple of days I'll do 2 or 3 songs. I hate the damn orange button! I wish I had six fingers on my left hand.

Nah, it's built into the game. It's where you spend the money you earn in career mode. You can get guitars, bonus characters, and a couple of dozen bonus songs.

Laid to Rest is good stuff.

We may have to do some bribing to get Seb to play though, since there's no J-pop tunes in the game. (Although I do think he'd be into Trogdor.....)

Is the red guitar that comes with part II constructed differently than the black one from part I? I got both recently and I noticed the strum bar on the black one doesn't snap back to neutral. And the fret buttons feel better on the red one too. Is this normal or should I go exchange it? I haven't unwrapped the actual DVD game case yet on the first one.

Both my guitars-- the black one from the first game, the red one from the second game-- are pretty much exactly alike, except the red one's motion sensor is more sensitive, making it easier to trigger star power. The strum bar and fret buttons behave just alike on both of mine.

If she loved you, she'd let you have it now.

There are a couple. **** Dale's "Misirlou," Rush's "YYZ"(thank God that one is instrumental, since I hate their singer's voice), and bonus tracks "Gemini" and "Thunderhorse," by Deathlok from Adult Swim's "Metalocalypse," are all instrumental. There may be one or two more I don't recall right offhand, but I think those are all.
Aword of warning: Don't play "Misirlou" in Expert mode in front of your girlfriend. It will probably make you cry. That's the closest I've come to smashing my guitar in righteous, rock-fueled rage.

Thank you. I tried it out too and it was a nightmare, even in the menus. I'll go exchange it when my girlfriend comes home (she got them for me).

10 new tracks (8 are revealed in the article-including "THE TROOPER" by Iron Maiden!!!), achievements, DOWNLOADABLE TRACKS! Damn, I'm REALLY gonna have to consider the purchase, although there's no wireless controller support yet.....

Well the PS2 one is $79.99 with the controller so I'm guessing the 360 one will be $89.
