Patreek's Fan-Created Characters

So first off this is a fan created character that I've been working on. I'm new to drawing so don't expect much lol. I have a few initial sketches that I'll be posting later tonight...but first: Who is this mechanical wonder?

Her name is Gadgette (of Gad-gette, not sure yet... feedback?) and she is a member of the horde. So far I'm thinking she is a robot created by Entrapa to help her with her work and serve the Horde. Her powers are mainly that she can control machinery around her, she is VERY smart and can build things for the horde she also is a super computer and her hair, which is made up of wires and plus, can plug in to tap into any computer...

Ok let me know what you think so far? I'll be adding pics in a bit...

Thanks crew... yea I know the name is kinda cheesy... but thought it kinda fit with masters in an odd way... if anyone else has ideas let them be known. ANyway here are some really bad pics... took them with my camera because my roomie is playing WOW and probably will be for 6 more hours... lol

OK here she is. This is just some work to get her out of my head and onto paper, obviously not the best artist but you can see where I'm going with it from these I think..... If anyone wants to take a swing at her be my guest :-)

Sounds like a good concept & I like the sketches too. As for the name, i think it's perfect minus the hyphen.

So working on Gadgette got me inspired to keep going. This is Terror-Dactyl or Dac for short.

I don't know if he should be part of sketelton crew, snakemen, or the horde... I don't really like him as a snake guy because well he's not a snake... lol... I like him as a Horde Member because of the wings and how that fits in with the horde design... but I also like the fact that him being prehistoric in nature fits more with Eternia then it does Etheria... ... ... Thoughts?

his wings come out of his wrists like stratos he also has mini wings on his ankles... Powers... well he can fly... he is fast ... any other thoughts on abilities? I am having trouble not stealing beastmans...

So another Fan character I'm working on is PATRA... so in my version of Masters history Patra (good guy) uses her magic to mumify and trap Fear-o and his royal guardsmen Wraptor (at the time of course their names were different ;-)). Her magic does the trick for many many years... how ever The evil Hordak discovers the cavern in which their mumfied remains remain (hee hee) and with the help of shadow weaver bring them back...

So this introduces Wraptor who is a snakemen raptor high-bred originally working for the snakemen but recruited to gaurd Fear-o and his court.

Ok... you can't tell because i can't draw lol but his legs are suppose to be... ... ... well if you are watching the fungor thread like his are... Wraptor is suppose to be able to run fast and jump high.

I LOVE the concept for Gadgette! Man-at-Arms and his technology would have a hard time going up against her if he came to Etheria at some point. I can already imagine an action figure version of her where the chest cogs turn like the ones inside Roboto. Or how about the huge chance for comedy if Multi-Bot had the hots for her and she spent half her time rebuffing him

Terror-Dactyl looks cool, reminds me of a character from X-Men, I think he was called Sauron? I think he had the power to Hypnotise or drain powers from his enemies. It'd be cool if Terror-Dactyl could breathe fire so he could go up against Frosta.

Wrap-Tor is a really clever name. For some reason I imagine him taking on Bow. It'd be cool if he could control his bandages and make them snake out to ensnare a foe. And maybe with the Egypt/Mummy/desert theme he could create sandstorms or even turn into a whirlwind of sand himself to make a quick getaway?

Patra sounds cool, I'm looking forward to seeing the drawing, though if you are going with Filmation continuity, Catra recieved her feline characteristics and cat powers after the Horde conquered the Magicats and Hordak gave Catra an enchanted cat mask that the Horde stole from the queen of the Magicats.

Thanks Killian. Thanks for the comments. Terror-Dactyl does remind me of Sauron as well... looking for ways to make him a little more unique... thats why I liked his leg wings and the wings growing out of his wrists like stratos. Any ideas on how to make him more different?

I love your thoughts for Wraptor, the bandages snaking out is a great idea and really fits with the character I also like the idea of sand abilities. Thanks a lot! :-)

In that episode with the Magicats, do you ever get to see the original queen and or do they call her by name? Is it possible that Patra could be the Queens? Again you remind me how many episodes I have left to see!!!! I must get on this!

cool characters, patreek. i think wraptor would benefit from having more of a snout, like the other snakemen. gadgette is a great idea--it would be great to see a custom of her with a clear torso and roboto-style internal gears.

LMAo I'll use this then when I draw Patreek's Wraptor chibi Gotta admit though, the tnedrils make him look a tad like Sammuel from the Hellboy movie Love the multi snake arms

I have no idea who Samuel is, but I did base the tendrils of the hellbot movie monster. The one in the station fight scene. So 10 points for spotting that smb.

Bootleg - THanks man! Yea he should have more of a snout... i'm just a bad drawer. LOL These sketches are mostly just to flesh out my ideas, i'm not a good enough artist to really rendor them... Love your idea for Gadgette... and hey I love your artwork... if you want to take a swing at any of these guys I'd be honored!

2-bad - AMAZING... I wasnt expecting you to get to this quite so quickly. Thank you so much I'm really honored that you took the time to draw him. I think he's great and I love that his torso is somewhat zombieesque and thin at the waist. Something that was brought up here is that his bandanges could leech out at people and even become snakes themselves... what if that happened instead of his hand doing it? Just a thought... really amazing work though!

Rockette - One of the rockpeoples in the POP universe, goodguy

Pebble - Because its pop she might need a cute sidekick ;-)

Venomous/snakebite/viper - not sure what to name him or which names are taken... can someone help.. basically he is another snakemen cyborg like CopperHead... his feature is that the snakemen have collected as well as created a bunch of different poisons and have them strapped to this guy with tubing going to his fangs, claws and weapons so that which ever liquid he needs for a particular situation he has access to...

I did some research for you on some of the most venomous snakes in the world. Thought it might be helpful. The Taipan is considered to be the most But thats not final. It'll be hard. Snakebite will always remind me of alcohol Other related words could be Toxic, Infect, Poison. I dunno.

Samael was the monster inside the museum it was a very wicked monster and hellboy called it stinky if i remember well.

He doesn't have a left eye, so, its bandaged alright. That & it creates a bit of curiosity around the design.

I love the idea, infact I was thinking of the same, only instead of bandages he was actually wraped with snakes which spawn feom his back which kind of open up in battle mode, but after 4 failed attempts a planned to do this design.

Hey, sorry to take so long to reply on this one, but I'm still in the process of moving and don't have much net time.

BUUUT I LOOOVE Gad-Gette! Entrapta really needs an answer to Modulok's Mult-Bot, and I think she does the trick nicely

A 'dactyl master is an over due and natural idea!

And I'm for any and all characters to flesh out (no pun intended ) Fear-O and his little sub-section of the Horde-history.

I really like the names and powers of Gadgette and Wraptor. The unnamed snakemen with the different venoms is a clever addition too, but I wouldn't make him a cyborg since a lot of characters tend to go that way. I would give him armor with different cans of poison and a weapon to insert it like a seringe (spelling?). But that's up to you. Good luck with it?

super-munkyboy - Thanks for looking that up for me. LOL I forgot that snakebite was a drink... is it bad that that makes me like that name even more... he could have one tube for alchohol and his character could always seem slightly drunk ;-)

DestrongerLupus - Thanks for taking a look, I really appreciate it. Its look like Terror-Dactyl is going to be apart of Preternia, thats your neck of the woods any other ideas for him :-).

I'm actually really excited about this FearO, Patra, Wraptor Story line... I hope to have it evolve into a comic or something sometime but I either have to get a lot better with a pencil or find someone who is equally excited about the idea.... so I'm assuming that'll be awhile. I have a real life none org friend that I've been thinking about asking though so we'll see... If there is an .org person that is interested though let me know! :-)

The Horrorist - Thanks, I'm glad you like them. I'm hoping to find someone with better artistic capability to mock up Gadgette a lot of people seem to like her. Stay tuned. The poison snake guy is still in the early stages, thanks for the ideas though I'll keep that in mind. I sort of saw him as a counter part to Cophead thats why I envisioned him as a cyborg...hmmmmmm

2-bad - I hope you don't mind but I played with your pic in paintshop hee hee this is sorta what I meant... let me know what you think...

it is BEST if MOTU names can have SOME kind of double meaning...Clawful = claw's and awful...

or like one of the upcoming COTU/Powers of Preternia characters TRI-LO-MIGHT...which is a play on the prehistoric animal the trilobite and the old "TRY YOUR MIGHT" games...

so, personally i like SNAKE-BITE...with the hyphen and if makes you think of something else and giggle or smile then it is a successful MOTU name, imo...

might need to rethink a couple of those names. gadgette will most likely make people think of gadget from the rescue rangers, rockette will be associated with the dancing rockettes and pebble will be associated with the flintstones.
