What I want to know is how are there so many MOCs in the first place? I'm not a collector so I don't understand... there's no way kids were getting these toys and preserving them. So are all the MOCs around today the result of older toy collectors purchasing these back in the 80s?

I think the majority of these MOCs came from store overstock.--That's my opinion, anyway. I think you could have found batches of these for pennies on the dollar in the early-mid 90s. Warehouse finds is another explanation, I think.

Oh yes, I remember buying new carded Star Wars ROTJ kenner figures in the late 80s/first 90s for 2 DKR - thats like $0,25 ... the good old days!

Interesting... so I wonder if there is an unopened pallette of Scareglows hidden in a warehouse somewhere.

Funny how so many Webstors survived - nowadays hes the favorite to many.
He do seems a little boring in his package, so lots of kiddies would have chosen another figure
... but he did came with one of the coolest assesories ever!

Mantenna was not on the list but I am sure he was top 4. I have discussed this with a few other collectors before and he was certainly a shelf lingerer.

It's not listed on the poll, but I'd say Ram Man.

When I was re-collecting the line, eventually making two complete sets, a few years back, I was winning whole massive lots off of ebay, and I had LOADS of Ram Mans. I'm talking about 20 at one point!!

Mantenna was a close second - I had about 15 of him at one point!

(Oh, Beast Man seemed to pop up a lot too).

The attached photos are when I was partway through sorting them out, so times these by about two.

I'm starting to see why everyone says Leech, but I'm voting for Clawful. I see a lot of him floating around.
    - I've got my corn sword, I'm good.
