    MotU redesign challenge #75 Starburst She-ra

    Reference picture:
    http://www.he-man.org/primary_sects/...t_she-ra.shtml
    Your task is simple: made picture of Starburst She-ra. It can be custom figure, chibi, painting... just make a picture and post it here. Usually I don't like restriction, but please do not send pictures about regular She-ra -I'm afraid otherwise there will be so much designs that making polls will be too difficult.

    There is again 2 weeks time: deadline is 26. March.

    And thank you all! It had been so much fun with these challenges and there have been a lot of nice, cool and even incredible designs. But now organising these things had come to end in my part. May be force be with you Predabot, if you continue challenges!

    Because there are lot of characters still undone: most of the unproducted prototypes, many of the NA characters, some PoP girls (like Peekablue, Spinnerella, Netossa, Flutterina, Kowl, Lookee, Bow, oh he's not a girl ), comic characters like Delora, Geldor, Scrollos, 6 Fuerza-T characters and dozens of Filmation characters. And ofcourse who of uss wuold guessed in the start, that Goatman, Evil Robot and Philips mom would have a redesign?

    Okay, I stop this gossip. My She-ra is ready, but picture will come here little later.
    Will do commissions for loose 200X Evillyn or Roboto. Guarantee: if not happy with pic, no need to send fig!

    And so, it comes full circle. ^^

    Excellent choice for a character, and I shall see if I can come up with anymore reference.

    I've got a couple of ideas for challenges that I want to do, but I'll still have to do some real thinking here.

    I'm also thinking that when I post my first challenge I'll do so with a super-duper big poster highlighting every single winning character from those challenges held by those that came before me. So, we've all got our work cut out.

    EDIT: Don't forget that Starburst She-ra has a special steed too! Crystal Swift Wind! ^^

    Also found an image of her action-feature. http://www.mastersunbound.com/toys/s...wfrontopen.jpg

    I believe she's supposed to be sporting a star-burst on her back or cape? I'll have a lookout for that too. Ah, wait now I understand! The pink side is all pink, and the inside is filled with a burst of cosmic energy-stars! Just like Marvels Quasar, and DC's Donna Troy.

    Thanks for extra reference, Predabot!

    My Starburst She-ra uses pure power of Geyskull. It's like modern variation of Thunder Punch He-mans origin story from Treachy of Modulok -minicomic.

    Will do commissions for loose 200X Evillyn or Roboto. Guarantee: if not happy with pic, no need to send fig!

    Awesome Moni! That makes total sense actually, and you did a nifty variation *I* certainly never would have thought of.

    great looking entries, folks!

    my version has a bit of a twist to it:

    * * *

    PROFILE: Stoic and pragmatic, STARBURST is a woman of few words, as a result of her extended isolation in deep space. In spite of her reticent manner and her reluctance to trust others, Starburst is nonetheless a powerful ally of the heroes of both Etheria and Eternia. Her mystical cloak endows her with a number of powers, including supernatural strength and stamina (in the same league as He-Man and She-Ra), as well as flight, and the ability to traverse the cosmos freely. Her sword has a blade cut from a rare type of Etherian gem, and is charged with cosmic energy. The powers of the cloak have also slowed her aging.

    HISTORY: Over a century ago, Etheria existed in an age of peace, and Starburst was Light Hope's champion, watching over the planet, and maintaining the delicate blance of justice. A Cosmic Enforcer came to the planet, seeking Starburst's aide in battling a marauding space fleet known only as "The Horde." At Starburst's request, Light Hope permitted her to leave Etheria, hoping that with her aid, the Horde fleet could be stopped before they reached Etheria.

    However, the Cosmic Enforcer was in a fact a rogue who had betrayed his order, and he teleported Starburst lightyears away, behind enemy lines. Without Starburst to lead the forces of Etheria, the Horde was able to invade and gain a significant foothold. Light Hope was greatly weakened (a large portion of his power still imbued in Starburst) and could do little to help.

    For one hundred years, Starburst has been fighting her way through Horde forces with little or no help, trying to get back to her home planet. In her journeys she has clashed with the legitimate Cosmic Enforcers, and later allied with them, after it was revealed that the Enforcer who betrayed her was a rogue.

    Finally, she has returned, and none too soon--with the disappearance of He-Man, and the Horde invasion of Eternia, She-Ra has been desperately needed by Eternia and the Sorceress of Grayskull. With Starburst holding the Etherian front against the Horde, She-Ra has returned to Eternia for the time being. Accustomed to working alone, Starburst is finding it somewhat difficult to adapt to her position as one of the leaders of the Etherian Rebels. Her dedication however, is unquestionable.

    * * *

    Starburst is just the first in a series of "original" fan-characters based on existing He-Man/She-Ra toys. Look for more from me in the coming weeks.

    Really cool design, but I kind of like the idea of an extra-powered She-ra ready for Deep-space combat. The power of G adapts tools and such for ANY environment or challenge!

    super-munkyboy: thanks man, i'm glad you liked it! i'm not a fan of variants in general, i'd always rather get a cheesy new character rather than a cheesy new variant!

    Predabot: i can appreciate that--i figured my new character twist would not be something that everyone was into!
