My vote went (again...) for bootleg. Like that concept. Shall we see Dragon Blaster, Bubble Power and Thunderpunch soon?

They were all great designs. Loved the pose Monikasvo, and the way ya had the stars in her cape. Like the fact you did the stars in such a different way.

Avril, loved your pose. SHe looks intimidating.

In the end Bootleg got my vote. The finish the design had drew me in, but thats not as important as the idea. Making her a seperate character was genius to me. I was never a fan of varients, so making a purse from a pigs ear is my view. Loving the colours chosen, and her pose is very empowering. Due to the colours chosen, she almost comes across as an antihero.

In all honestly, I am a fan of Bootleg's style for Masters... as well as all of the recent entries of art provided by him here lately ...& he is truly becoming what I consider to be (and yes you can quote me on this) ...one of the "Best New MOTU Art Forces" on the board!

Bootleg's She-ra is the most fleshed out in art & story & feels the most like an existing varient to me. Keep up the good work.

i too love bootleg's stuff and Starburst is no exception, but since she is a new character and not "Starburst She-Ra" i had to go with Monikasvo on the technicality...

great job everybody, way to take on one that was obviously pretty hard and do something original and cool...

mmm...this is a tough one!

As others have said, this is a tough one, all three present something that I like.

Monikasvo: I really like the colour scheme of this one, it would work very well as a figure.

Avril: This is a really, really nice piece of artwork. The only thing I will say, when compared to the other two, it looks more like a regular She-Ra with very minor modifications; but still very good. (Argh, I hate these things, the standard is so high, and I don't want to cause offence).

Bootleg: Again, wonderful (well, I like all of Bootleg's work). I love the cape design. The thing I feel about this one, particularly with the different hair colour, as well as some of the costume design, is that it rather resembles an evil version of She-Ra (and indeed, she was presented as a different character - as I find when I think to read back on the original thread!! ).

So, all three excellent and with their own merits. But I think, overall, my vote goes to Monikasvo.

my vote went to Monikasvo--it was tough, i love the drapery and flowing hair in Avril's take, but the action pose, devil-may-care expression, and crystalline stars in Moni's version won my vote.

It's not just a case of nice design but weather you can actually see it as a figure.
I really like Avril's design but I can see but Bootleg as a figure more.

Wow, those are all some excellent alternate/updated designs for Starburst She-Ra - but I think I have to go with Bootleg's design as my pick. I love the idea of seperating Starburst into a seperate character - you might have civered this alreday, but have you got any plans to do a seperate Bubble Power character as well?

for those who were curious, i do plan on drawing up "bubble power" eventually, though she might need a name change. i have some he-man and skeletor variants that are in progress already and should show up first. and don't worry, i haven't forgotten about catra either!
