Well the first of the final drawings has come in and its AMAZING!!!! Now you can all see what the results are after another one of these is complete... Hopefully even more people will participate this next time. I'm excited to see who is chosen from the next developement poll. It ends today so if you havn't voted go vote! Again I want to thank everyone for their participation... Ickthia is looking amazing and I really appreciate all the idea's and art submited! So here she is: ICKTHIA!

FIrst we have drawings by Buffalo Bill Man. BBM drew up Ickthia in three moments of her transformation. So we have her in Human form, halfway transformed, and then full fish woman form below, in this post i'm showing you a little slide show.

Weight: 135 in human form 155 in Fish
Hair color: Red in Human form, Black in Fish
Eyes color: Purple

Weapons:
Disced Net
Frog Gig Spear staff
Armlet Launcher for Spear, and net

Powers:
Able to breath underwater for days
One of the best and fastest swimmers on Eternia
Able to drain the water essence of of people to restore her beauty.


Ickthia is the illigitamate daughter of Merman and the human woman Thiamona of the island Mermakor. THe people of Mermakor rever the Merfolk and live along side them as fishermen and frog hunters (frog is a staple food for these peopl).

Ickthia was cursed before she was born by Mermans jealous wife Neptuna. Ickthia grew up popular and beautiful if not a bit vain. On her 16th birthday Neptuna's curse came true and Ickthia's skin slowly turned to scales and she lost her beauty. While water wwilltemporily return her beauty as soon as her skin dries she reverts to this scaley state. She can however use her hollowed out eel tonge and tentacles to drain other humans of there water essence, and this will restore her beauty for hours and sometimes even a whole day if she drains enough to kill them. Ickthia seeks the essence of He-man as she believes that one so powerful could restore her beauty forever.

Ickthia lives in Mermokor where she has become Queen and had the villagers build a palace for her. She has taken the village to war with the Merfolk as she is furious that Merman would let his wife do this to her and wants revenge. She only allows the villagers to she her in human form and most don't know that she has any other.

Absolutly stunning...then again I wouldn't expect any less from BBM. I want an Action figure now!! The way the various forms are merged in the final pic is Awesome. Glad to see the isea of the hand & hair tentacles used... And that disk looks great done by BBM.

the idea was to make her trasnformation fade, and I think it turned pretty cool. It kind of show cases the harder part of building this character, and that was to get the 3 versions to line up perfectly in all 3 versions.

Really great work, BBM!!! I love the Netossa cape, and your vision of a female Merman is really good too. I especially like her accessories! This could have worked as an update of Princess Nami too, and a great way to explain her human appearance other than her being a reuse of the model sheet for Celice.

Also Is there a way to just embed the slideshow into the thread? I know you can with myspace ones, but I don't know how to do it with photobucket... it would be nice if it just showed up instead of having to click the link.

She was the princess of the Aquaticans in the Filmation episode "City Beneath the Sea." She's in the Universe Guide here. The design might work as an update, but the characters really are very different.

Oh ok... actually I can see a similarity about them but yea mostly they are very different. She would make a cool update of her though, I'm going to go rewatch that episode tomorrow. :-)

WOW ICkthia turned out great Bill Man. I'm very impressed. It is cool to see her as she's progressing too! I can't wait for the next round and to see other peoples Ickthia pictures.
