The design is nice, but the armor is a bit too "samurai-ish" for my taste. I also never never liked these influences on the 200X skeletor, neither do i think that Skeletor's split-up sword for the 200X line was a good idea. Too many dragons and bling-bling, it just doesn't fit for the Master of Evil.
The new movie Skeletor should of course have a dark / black cloak, with the major part of his skeleton-head being constantly hidden in the shadows - only the red glowing eyes should pop out, and noteably change depending on his mood (for example get brighter when he's angry, or something). The harness looking similar to the classic version (i do dig the bone and blade extensions on the upper picture), but it may cover more skin - as it would look ridiculous otherwise. Because he's involved into black magic and stuff it would be cool to see some potions (with green or red liquid inside) hanging down his belt. Concerning his skin, i would love if it was not entirely human (beside the blue color), but reptile-like on some areas (with small spikes, for example on the ellbows like at the classic figure's arms). That old design-picture from William Stout posted on the first page is a pretty much kickass start if you ask me, but please for this movie make his face YELLOW and NOT WHITE:
As for He-Man i am not sure. The boots and waist are no problem. There should not be a baggie on the front of his waist tho'. And I would definitely leave out the metal-armory on the lower arms (classic He-Man hasn't had these things painted on the toy as well). The toughest part to come up with will be the armor in my opinion. I am not a fan of the 200X armor, prefer the classic armor 1000x more, but that classic version is very hard to convert to a suitable real-life version without making it seem weird. What I am trying to say is, the classic armor is grey - so apparently that is metal. But in order to make it "bendable" around the torso, and flexible as well, it will have to be split up into segments. Please NO SHOULDER PADS for He-Man in this movie!!! Sword and axe should be leaned on the classic designs ... man, i so friggin' hate the tech-mech 200X sword and even more that monstrously huge 200X axe.
