It was a last minute thing. I wanted to give him some kind of talisman, or something of sentimental purpose. It's meant to be a lock of Zoar's feathers he keeps as a luck charm. It's kind of a play on how you see people keep locks of loved ones' hair. Of course it raised a bunch of questions about how he gathered these feathers. the basic concept is pretty sweet though. i especially like how he's not as muscular, that aspect of Skeletor always seemed weird to me considering he never used his physical strength much in the cartoon, and instead tried to use intelligence and magic to outwit He-Man.
He really respected smart people..
