you seem to be alone, that is somewhat great cuz you have a chance of finding classic items in your area with no rivals on your way

    Anybody else?

Haha, I'm one, just a little late is all. I talked w/ Boggs already, and was wondering who else might be out there, hmmm. I actually know a handful of people around here that do collect, and are well aware of the org. Maybe they're just shy. Well, at least this is back to the top, and we can try again. I actually didn't think to look here until I searched and was directed here, so, there you have it.

    cheers,

I like Mcdonough a lot actually, I have some family down there. It's nice and quiet, yet still some places to go. I used to know a girl named Kim that had an art gallery on the square, but she closed it or moved it one.

I've been to Dahlonega only a hand full times, like for the Gold Rush Days and events like that. I actually saw a face jug one time that looked sort-uh like one of Modulok's heads, should have gotten it I guess, or i could just make one too.

Anybody going to Dragoncon this year? Not the best con in the world as far as panels and such, but respectable for the varying amount of fans that show up. I work in midtown so it's not too far down Peachtree.

Anyways, hope to see some orgers there, I think I'll wear my Mosquitor shirt

    peace guys

I might be able to go this year. I hadn't heard anything about this convention until a few minutes ago when I looked it up. How is it?

If anyone is over in Athens for a game or whatever... look me up!

It's pretty fun. Like I said the panels aren't up to the caliber of SDCC, but it's very entertaining. Nothing much in the way of MOTU usually (I'm sure dealers will have the new stuff though), but the parade on Peachtree st. is awesome and free if you're in town and don't care to attend the con itself. The nightlife is the better part of the con, many parties and the place basically never shuts down, people changing costumes throughout the day. It's in three hotels downtown, so the atmosphere is better than a large venue hall. After 9 or 10, it's like a big nerd lounge where you can just chill and watch everything going crazy around you. It was at one point more successful, but the originator tainted it's presence w/ a run-in with the law some years back, but it's growing back nicely. The line to get in usually takes about an hour, but once you get your badge, there's no big hassle of getting around. The panels are much much smaller, so they fill up pretty fast, but still not hard to get a place. I generally go to hang out, check out the dealer rooms, and see what artist show up more than I do going to panels.

And it's local!!! no doubt the largest south/eastern con.

Anyways, that's my experience w/ it.

    cheers
