In either a file so he can print out a nice poster, or we'll make the poster for him? I'm thinking, you make a quick rough sketch, somebody else does finishes and perhaps inks, and then I top it all off by destroying the entire piece with my meager colours, hah-hah!

OR... Oor, we could take one of these sketches of Norem-art, and perhaps we could have a lad on this board ink it up, and THEN I'll ruin that with my colours. What do ye' think, mate? It's really your call.

The Conan and MOTU galleries will be the first to go live so then folks can see what they can send.

Though I will say that there's little or no MOTU magazine stuff there.
That's what's needed most right now.

I never did own the magazines sorry I can't help with that, those things are pricy on E-bay! I do have a small handful of scans I found around the net, I’ll see if I can find those files on my older hard drives. I haven't gotten around to scanning the Golden Book series yet, but that's probably a good thing considering you said you already had some. Out of that the following list, what do you need if any?

I've starting sorting out all the images. Quite a few require some clean up work which really eats into my time. So if folks can keep an eye on things when they scan, that would be cool!

Sad to hear that you have to do post-processing on the lot of these tho, mate. The only thing I can say is that I haven't actually scanned any of these myself, I just redistribute with what others have sent me, that I find on file-sharing networks, and what little I find online.

I have also contacted a few more people that are in possession of original art, so we'll see if we might get a few more contributors.

Oh man... it's so damn close to the grand opening isn't it? Only a month or two, I'd say. ^^

Eamon, if you need help with something graphical, even if it's just pre-processing and setting the files up for your touch-ups, in some manor, then feel free to ask me. I've been feeling for some time that I should be contributing more than I am, currently.

I have to admit I've not been keeping up with this thread.

I'll get the domain and FTP access setup for you, and you can go to town.

It's already been sorted out who's designing the site, it's Pig Boy. And I think he's got almost enough pieces to have a grand opening.

It would be smashing if you could hand over FTP-access to him in the near future.

I'm confindent I can get the site up and running this week.
But the only gallery that will be up is Conan.
I got the index and contents working though I'm mot html expert..
The Conan page is designed but not ready to upload.
I would've preferred to opened with the MOTU page but there's just not enough material yet!

Unless you know about how to automate actions in photoshop, there's nothing you can really do.

My scanner don't want to work, That and my fun filled weekend, yeah... I'll get them to you by Wednesday.

edit: you know I seam to recall he also did some of the puzzles...I just don't recall which ones because I never had them...
something to ask in the classic masters forum I'd think.

Oh, I was wondering since the topic has been brought up, is the Sun Bird legacy his first MOTU art? I assume so, and I ask you because I know you have talked to the man and was hopeful that you would know.

Does any one know if i have to load every big image onto it's own page as I want the image alligned centered with a black background or can the browser do it?

HTML-code can most definitely do that for you.

There's actually several methods, using tables, or image-alignment, or the center-tag.

I say, use the center-tag, it's perhaps the simplest method. ^^

As so, you could write it a little bit like this:

Damn was my html-knowledge rusty... I had to rewrite this several times, until I realized I was writing in UBB-code! And then I had forgotten that you need to use ""-marks too.

What's the technical term for when you want a link to open up in it's own new page but the window of that new page is the same size as the image?
Basically I got the images linked and the big images pop up un a new window.
But I get big a browser window with a white background instead of the image aligning centre in the new window or the new window only being the size of the image.
If anyone can follow that?

I wasn't to avoid having to generating a seperate url for each image manually.
I just don't have the time.
