Wow, another awesome MOTU piece by Nebezial -- it would be an amazing scene in a movie.

So, trust me, I'm not angry at all, neither I'm jealous.
I actually quite enjoy seeing MOTU art from a moltitude of different artists.

What annoys me a bit, are the replies where I'm told the only way to get to work on MOTU is to apply for a job at Mattel.
While this is clearly not the case, as this proves how Mattel do currently hires freelances to perform one-time projects for internal presentation, like this one (the artist explains that in the comments).
Which is exactly what I do for Hasbro.

So, I'm not bothered by other artists getting to work on MOTU in the slightiest. It's the answer I get to explain why I can't work on MOTU that doesn't sound right to me.
A simple: "we don't like you or your art", would put my mind at ease much better

Sorry for the little rant, let continue to enjoy more MOTU art!

Not to high jack this thread but is there anything we can do as a fan community to help? When most of us think of MOTU we think Emiliano and Val. You also adapt so well. I remember seeing your art when I first came on the org and it was so like Adam Hughes and according to the Shard of Darkness trade paper back you worked on something like three different styles to get one that was right. You are one of the most amazing artists I have ever seen and I believe most people here on the org would agree.

I think it is a damn shame that Mattel doesn't jump at the chance of having a professional of your caliber and knowledge of MOTU to be on board with the classics line or mini comics. Just my two cents...

Unfortunately, I don't know if the fan community can help.
In theory, Mattel should be open to listen to fan requests, just because giving them what they want means selling more of their products (very simplified argument, but let's leave it that way for now).
Right now, it seems that fans clamoring for us just does the opposite, making Mattel even more upset and less willing to have us working with them.

I don't know why, but that's how it is. I still think fans have to keep speaking their opinion regardless, but this is the feeling I got in the past years.

Maybe LOL, they are afraid of losing the control... they **** their pants when someone speak about Emiliano or Val, they are jealous and they are afraid!!!!!

They donīt want popular "fan" artists because they might have "opinions" and better knowledge about the property than them!!!!!! LOL

I'd say it was in the style of Anime, rather than straight out Anime!

I was about to fave the MetalHanzo, but a number of errors put me off from adding it to my He-Man/She-Ra collection

I usually prefer more realistic portrayals, but the dynamic of this picture is awesome! Though HM's head looks too big, I really love Skeletor's pose, the robes & how BM, MM & MAA are fitted into the picture.

that castle looks epic, huge, mysterious..... everything I would want grayskull to look like. but still close enough to original, it still pays its respect...

not like the old movie one, where they basically took the filmation frightzone and called it grayskull.
