Hi, I was born in 1984 and remember very well watching Masters of The Universe until about 1990 when I couldn't find it on TV anymore. After that I still kept the figures I had (and still have) and a few books. Despite not seeing it for many years my interest kept up and in 1999 I bought a few old video tapes from a video rental store that was going out of business. They were horrible quality, but I loved them anyway. And in 2005 I was very happy that the show was coming out on DVD. I have all of the volumes for Masters of the Universe, Princess of Power and New Adventures.
I still love Masters of the Universe because it provided me with entertainment and stimulus for my imagination when I was a small child. So there's a lot of nostalgia value there. I think that it and many other TV shows of the 1980's are much higher in quality than those that are produced today. I am the oldest of nine children and I watch He-Man with my little brothers every now and then.
