    Introduction from new member.

    Purr-Meow! Hi there,
My name is Cari, AKA Minniecatra. I'm new to the boards. Still learning my way around.
I had no idea that He-man.org existed or that there was even a community of fans until about a year ago. I'm somewhat quiet and shy until I get to know you. <grin> He-man and She-ra were always there in my life through thick and thin. Since I'm a bit older, (35 now 11 in '83,) I was extremely shamed for being into MOTU and POP. I was forced to enter my own locked castle only sharing with a few friends. If I could actually visit the Eternia and Etheria I've created in my head, I'd live there. LOL!
Anyway, it's taken me a year of being around unnamed, and silent to feel safe enough to say hello.
As far as favorites go I have to say He-man is at the top of the top. She-ra is hot too and ranks up there with He-man. On the bad guy side Catra is cool. She's such a cat. LOL! I also like Evil Lynn. I have to confess I hav not experienced New Adventures or Mike Young versions. I've heard some really good thing about both series and am thinking I will check them out soon. <grin>
Other than He-man and She-ra I'm a full-time returning student in the Human Services program. Other interests include the baseball season, being on the blind bowler's league, enjoying music, and collecting dolls.
OK, this has gotten longer than I originally planned so enough said for now. <grin> See you on the boards!
    PURR-Meow and Peace,
    Cari

That's a place I share with you and many others...as a guy, it was extremely uncool to be into She-Ra and He-Man growing up, especially in grammar school. I was taunted and teased like you wouldn't believe. But I persisted and survived, and it's finally nice to be at a board where people don't judge you so harshly!

    Welcome, Cari.
I thank YOU for it all.
    All my best, Zeeks

Welcome to the forums!!! I was a diehard He-Man and She-Ra fan mostly from the age of 3-8 (not completely sure so don't sue me) then I went over to TF and later TMNT. However I remember at that age all the boys and girls loved both the shows even though us boys always had to favor He-Man whereas the girls favored She-Ra. In any case those are good memories! I hope you'll get to share more thoughts and feelings here!
