Vote for the glorious presence of the Horde Prime! part 2

Greetings, fellow worshipper of the empire supreme, the lord of all, the HORDE PRIME!

We shall here today, determine who has clad our lord in his finest new armour of total superiority.

The polls will be open for 3 days each, and then I will cull the two or maybe 3 best from each poll,
and have them settle trough mortal combat who is the better leader of the Horde.

I do seriosuly like gbagok's version! so that get's my vote.

If I were to pick a more humanoid Horde Prime I'd go for Battle_Brak's.

But some great ideas knocking about.
Grimbot's is cool but there no organics there.

I had to go with Gbagok's design here... a great concept, turning Horde Prime into the mist, and making the aspects of his form we've seen into his mechanical host body

I had to go with gbagok's design.

Horde prime as an evil sentinent mist of darkness, like an evil conterpart to Light Hope, with the ability to animate huge mecha bodies to rule his empire with an iron fist (literally lol) is just such a sweet idea!!

It would also explain the two heads theory, he could have more than one body such as one in his stronghold, one on his flagship etc.. Therefore having more than one head. It fits in with every reference to him in the cartoons.

I agree - I had thought about drawing Hordak and saying that Horde Prime was just an idea Hordak made up to keep some of his more powerful flunkies in line. Then I thought to myself that it wouldn't really be a redesign ... just an excuse for Horde Prime not to really exist.

And these designs really ARE killin'! I don't actually know quite wich ones to pick... I'll have to check the scoring right now, and then I'll make up my mind. I'm leaning towards Battle_braks design tho.

I had to vote for Battle Brak's, that desgin is exactly how I see him, now if he was made as a figure Id sell my right kidney for it, Dam am kicking myself for missing the similar bust done by Royaltus.

awesome designs everyone--i think this is easily one of the best batches of redesigns i've seen! a few thoughts on the entries--

Grimbot: i like how you integrated him into a screencap, so that we get context and scale. the combination between shark and horde trooper for his look is fantastic, very unique. and his hunchback even resembles hordak's hood/collar!

gbagok: well, i am a big fan of your work, and a big fan of filmation stuff, so the fact that your horde prime draws strongly from the old cartoon is awesome, as far as i'm concerned! amazing coloring as always, and wonderful smoke effects. the horde banners in the bg are a great added detail.

super-munkyboy: love the fallen enforcer background--it really further entrenches horde prime in the motu mythos. his enforcer costume is great, and his other costume is elaborate and regal, befitting the emperor of the horde. this one got my vote!

Zeeks: great combination between the look of a horde trooper and the cyber arms of the filmation version. i like the vicious teeth and the lack of legs--it gives him a great inhuman quality. what does he look like under that helmet??

Monikasvo: fantastically weird alien design, and great coloring. horde prime's sinister jabba-the-hut-like expression while looming over his "little brother" and the semi-transparent magical eyes make for a really creepy image.

Battle_Brak: great re-design, amazing and precise linework, and simple yet elegant colors. what can i say? this design is going to be the one to beat, for sure.

Lord_of_Destruction: yay, a custom! great choices for figure parts and colors, i like the genghis khan vibe that i'm getting from his moustache and hat. my favorite detail is the fiery-winged horde symbol.

Hmm... this poll has ended, and it's clear who the two entries that dominated the poll are.

I'm a bit torn, ya' see, because in the other poll, things came so close that I allowed 3 entries to go on to the next level, but this time there's a HUGE gap between the 2'nd and 3'rd place.

What do you say lads? Should I let Munkey into the final battle?

I voted for gbagok. I love his idea.

Actually at first I was thinking about trying to get the time to participate on this, but when I saw gbagok's piece, I thought all mye ideas came short.

But it would be hard to make a action figure out of gbagok's version.
Battle_Brak's piece seems like somthing I could see as a cool toy/staction.

Anyway, always amazing to see what all you guys are coming up with.
