    Hey there, long time He-Fan

Hey there, my name is Andy and I was/am a He-Man junkie. All through growing up, my mom would bribe me with a list of chores for the day and at the end of it, if the chores were all done to her specification, then I would earn an action figure. She was so diligent in making sure I had every one, that she was in constant contact with the manager of the local toy store to make sure she knew when new figures were coming in so we could get first grabs. My toy collection became huge. Everything from Castle Grayskull and Snake Mountain to The Horde Pit and Eternia. Masters of the Universe inspired much of the nerd that is in me now. Progressing from the He-Man Fantasy to Roleplaying and eventually MMORPG video games, He-Man and the Eternia mythos were the catalysts of my hobbies and interests in present day. Thank God I wasn't huge into sports. All I can say is that I have nothing but fond memories and the very much irreplaceable lore of the 'Masters of the Universe' Universe. Alas though, I am now 29 coming on 30 and Storage fees have been adding up since I was 13 (Pretty much the last time I played with them) and they have been doing nothing but collecting dust in boxes, thus I come here to the He-Man haven so I can find a new home for all of them to collectors. Alot of them are in great shape and alot of rares, but alot have also been very much played with. Eternia is all intact from the last time I assembled it, but will have to sort it out later. Look forward to other posts from me in the Marketplace as I am able to unpack and snap some pics of what I have. I am from the Pacific Northwest.

Again, happy to be here and look forward to meeting some of you on the boards.

    Andy

Hi Andy, Good to see you here on the boards! There's lots of great discussion and speculation to be found here.
WOW your mom sounds like she enjoyed collecting the figures for you! I can't believe your thinking of parting with any of it!
Anyway hope you enjoy it here.

First of all, welcome to the .org! Secondly, your post made me think back to when my mom got me my first MotU figure...Man-E-Faces! From that moment on I was totally hooked! Everything about the classic line I love...the art on the cards got me into drawing and helped me cultivate my talent. The best Christmas I can remember as a child was 1984...that was the year my mom got me Castle Grayskull!

My Mom was great at making sure I had everything MOTU/POP/Thundercats etc...

    What MMORPG's do you play?

I blame my World of Warcraft obsession on MOTU lol
