I *REALLY* want the song that plays at 19:54 in the video below. The song is also in "Anchors Aloft", "Play It Again, Bow", and many other second-season episodes:

Fast-forward to 19:54 in the video below:

and here it is again at 1:21 in "Play It Again, Bow":

I am totally, totally blown away by this! I'm in shock.

When was this one released to Youtube? I could have sworn I played the entire She-Ra music set just recently on YouTube, and this song wasn't a part of it.

Did they add this one more recently?

Also - HOW did they do this?

My understanding is that they cut/paste elements of each track from the cartoon wherever there is no talking/sound effects in the background - just copy the clean parts of each track and then re-assemble all the parts together later on (cut/paste, etc). Very tedious indeed.

But this particular track was pretty rare - was there really that much of it available without talking, sound effects interfering with it, that they were able to cut/paste the entire song in small elements from all the different episodes in which it was used? I can't even recall more than 10 episodes where it appeared.

Or is there another method being used here (filters, maybe?), or perhaps they have a way of obtaining the original soundtrack?

I'm very curious about this. Any insight would be awesome, because I'm so fascinated by it!!

Thanks for leading me to this. I never thought we'd get this one

The Official He-Man youtube channel has both He-Man and She-Ra background music-clips for your listening pleasure.

They added it just in the "She-Ra music video compilation" (no separate video). When James Eatock was running the He-Man YT Channel, he had access to the music & effect tracks (no talking) and Dusan worked on these tracks to re-create the music (check the beginning of the music videos, where this is explained).

Oh no, the video was taken down due to infringement claims from multiple parties. I wonder who is staking a claim to the old Filmation score as there are certainly still a lot of full episodes sitting on YouTube. DreamWorks?

Anyways, did any one happen to save that video offline?

I think its *because* Dreamworks/Universal have put up officially Filmation episodes on their youtube channel. That then anyone else who uploads music or full episodes, that youtube-bots can track. Will get claims one way or another from said owner.

I can still see it, go here: She-Ra Music Compilation
It's a video uploaded by the official He-Man YT Channel, the same one who put officially Filmation episodes, so it's "Dreamwoks/Universal" approved! Maybe there's a problem in watching it in your country or it was temporarirly down by mistake.

I asked to MV, of Lalaland records this: Dear MV,
with the Netflix NEW She-Ra series coming in November, is there a chance for a release of the classic Filmation She-Ra series (maybe with also the missing music from He-Man)?
Thanks for your work and the time you dedicate to answer us!

And he gave me this answer:

We hope to further explore that catalog some day now that it is in the hands of Universal.

i'm still hoping someone, somewhere can get the complete tmnt sound track out.

we have every major series with some form of music release (officially or otherwise) except TMNT. Even RGB put the music only tracks on the dvds.

Bad news for a potential She-Ra CD release. La La Land Records were asked about future Shuki Levy titles and they responded:

"NOT AT THIS TIME. Rights issues and missing contracts."
