I only have a small handful of the variants (like Keldor, original King Hssss, Temple of Darkness Sorceress), and they are all in storage. Sometimes I swap them into the collection.

Those stands are called Whippy Superpose stands. They were made overseas but used to pop up on eBay all the time (which is where I got mine). But that was quite awhile ago and I'm not sure they're made anymore.
Thanks for that. May I echo penny in the awesomeness of your collection guide. I want that. Also the shelves are great with family involved. Many outsiders don’t understand that toys also are a family hobby and bring back memories of everyone involved. My grandfather and father helped me build my Star Wars shelves, they hold 1500 figures. My father is 72 and my grandfather just turned 95. I can’t look at my Star Wars without thinking of them.

Just a beautiful collection wakko, can’t wait to see snake mountain in there.

Yeah, he's a good 'un. I think I'll keep him. My wife too doesn't exactly understand but also finds a way to enjoy my collection. She occasionally tries to name all the figures and often comes up with creative new names for the ones she can't remember.

Surprisingly, no. Maybe once every couple of weeks one of the figures will take a dive, but for the most part, they stay standing just fine on their own. I think it helps that the room is in the basement, so the walls don't shift at all.

Yes!!! That was my entire thought behind asking my dad to build these shelves. When I was a kid, I LOVED to study the card backs of Star Wars and Super Powers figures. I loved how they showed row after row of the figures and none of them were blocked by another. So I always envisioned having a collection that was displayed the same way, where none of the figures were buried behind another and all could be clearly seen. Kinda like a museum!

Thank you! Whenever I do an update video I may show those boxes and binders more closely. I wanted them to look professionally done and fit in with the Dark Horse books.

Again, thanks! I look at it so much on my computer screen that I forget how good it looks printed. It's really slick (if I do say so myself). And it's also a BEAST.

That's really awesome! My dad just turned 74 (he built the shelves about 10 years ago). I know that when he's gone those shelves will remind me of him and his love for me. (Among other things, of course!)

Thanks for the kind words, folks! It was fun to put together. One thing you can't tell from the pictures: open the lid and the whole thing smells like pine thanks to Classics Moss Man. Very appropriate.

I particularly love it because it looks like it’s actually in water, which is such a funny thing considering the whole “don’t put this toy and water” thing that Toyguru had mentioned back when Moss Man came out.

Wakko, looks so awesome, but how do you dust all of that bro!?! Those shelves and figures must collect piles of dust.
