Need help with my iPod Classic

Okay, I've been having trouble figuring out something with my iPod Classic. When I go to the albums section, some of the albums I've uploaded have the songs out of order. I can't seem to fix this. When I go to playlists they're fine but I want to know how to fix the albums tracklistings. Also, I deleted the albums in question and tried re-uploading them with the "part of a compilation" checked so maybe it would upload them in the proper order, but when I did that, not only did it re-upload the songs in the same order, now every song I uploaded is listed in each album folder twice! If I upload a soundtrack, for example, it will separate some of the artists into separate folders for that particular artist when all I want is for the album to be in order with all the artists and not to have to have certain songs appear in several different folders. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Okay, I figured out why the songs I re-uploaded were on there twice. I only deleted the playlists from my iPod instead of the individual song list. I guess as with iTunes, deleting playlists doesn't delete the song from the whole system, only the playlist itself. I'm still having issues with the song orders though.

Make sure you have track numbers on each track of each album. To do this go into the info of each track and manually put them in if they aren't already.

I've done that. I deleted a double live album from my iPod because a bunch of the songs were out of order. I made sure I put in all the necessary track information. I even entered all the track numbers as if it were a single album. I uploaded it again and it still adds it as 2 different albums with the songs in the same order as before. Everything I've added is fine in the "playlists" folder but everywhere else it's messed up. I know, I know, just go the playlists folder and listen to it from there. I just wondered if I was doing anything wrong. I suppose it wouldn't bother me so much if it weren't a live album.
