Those who love Emiliano's work will be thrilled to know that he's doing some additional Transformers work. Emiliano previously worked on Transformers Spotlight: Blaster this past January for Transformers license holder IDW. In roughly three month's, Emiliano returns to Transformers for IDW's All Hail Megatron #10, filling in for series artist Guido Guidi.

Personally, I'm exited. I love his work and any exposure he can get is awesome.

Congratulations to Emiliano. I've been wanting to see him back on TF for the longest time now.

A little bit disappointed it's only one issue tho, and this perticular mini, since it's a bit controversial among the fan-community. And I haven't been following it myself. :\

IDW's head cheese Chris Ryall has said that there are plans to keep Emiliano around so it seems that he'll be getting more TF projects after this one.

You surely know more than me about IDW plans

To give you more info. I've been asked to help Guido on issue #9 and #10.
    I did 8 pages on #9 and then I'm completing 11 pages for #10.

After I type this, I'm off to do a double splash page with a nice surprise on issue 10

Ahhh. I thought it was the whole issue, my bad, but still, it's great to see you drawing them again. I didn't know you were helping out with issue 9. It's the Italian boys hard at work.

As far as your future work, you would take it if offered right? I have a particular interest since I helped Chris contact you in the first place. Awesome stuff by the way, I've seen the previews.

In case you don't believe me.......

    from the man himself:

Emil did a SPOTLIGHT issue for us a year or so back, but as you can see by these pages, from issue 10, he's gotten even more comfortable with the characters and is a nice guy to have around. Which is why we're making some plans to keep him around after this.

Congratulations Emiliano - you deserve all the success your amazing artwork can get you!

BTW, out of curiosity (because I haven't been collecting the series, sadly), why is All Hail Megatron considered controversial amongst TF fans?

    Take care...
Part of the "Kidult" craze long before it was a thing! : )

In short, because Simon Furman's not writing it.

As you may know, Simon is the TF master but he's taken lesser role in the current stories and many TF fans feel that Simon's previous continuity is being ignored by AHM writer Shane McCarthy.

It seems to me that a lot of TF fans just don't like writers other than Simon Furman and fans are rebelling. I think AHM is good, you'll get no complaints from me. I've been reading comics for 20 years and continuities get twisted all the time in comics when new writers take over, most TF fans don't seem to get that.

    That's my take on it.
