    Anybody here good at Probability ?

    Hey MOTU fans, I just started attending graduate classes to get my M.A. in psychology, and my research professor gave the class an extra credit probability question. I am terrible at stats/math, hence my love for psyc .
    Here is the question below:


    Brent Brunner worked at a packaging company. One day, Brent received four separate orders and accidently mixed up the addresses, so he applied the labels at random. What is the probability that exactly three packages were correctly labelled?

    If there were 4 packages there are only so many possible outcomes. Some formula is suppose to go in there to show how many possible outcomes can come from 4 things and what percentage 3/4 would be. Like 1 out of 16 possible outcomes.

    I wish I was better at math.

    No I was just seeing if any MOTU fans are not as Math illiterate as I am

    Just like bskcase said, I thought it was like 1/16 but was not really confident as I am definitely not a math wizard.

    Does Brent Brunner work at mattycollector's shipping company? That's what happened to my Skeletor shipment, except the person applying the labels did not guess correctly.
