    Well there's the Greek heroes like Hercules and Achilles which probably inspired most fantasy heroes.
    Later Cletic and Norse legends too. All the same sorta stuff!

    true. it seems that alot of things that we love have several original ideas that inspired them.

    they came far before. its interesting to learn more about it....

    What has that got to do with anything given I already said that sword & sorcery was the flavour of the day ie. it's not neccessarly Conan.

    I don't see much in that face let alone Arnold.

    He-Man was inspired by Frazetta not Conan. Frazetta painted a lot of dudes with helmets.
