This week, something different again, to show what kind of ideas we tried to pitch to Mattel, going past simple figure designs.
This concepts are NOT ABOUT THE HORDE TROOPER DESIGN.
The Four Horsemen don't need my suggestion on how to sculpt or design the HT for sure.
But, as Repaints and Refresh figures are a needs in most toylines, I tried to came up with ideas to make a smart use of repaints.
The HT, coupled with being army builder figures, are perfect for this purpose.
Jut look at what Star Wars does with Clone Troppers.
The HT Can be repainted as many times as we want, and with jsut a few extra molds, we could have lots of awesome variatons from the Marine Troopers seen in the cartoon to even portraing specific moments of the MOTU history...
The first image shows the basic Horde Tropper, almost identical to his vintage counterpart.
His chest armor is made by two alves and can be detached.
By changing the armor and replacing the head, here we have the Horde Troopers we've seen during the Eternia Invasion in SOTS flashbacks:
Then, molded in blue and with another new head and new lower legs, the "Marine Troopers" from Treasures of the First Ones can be easily achived.
With this molds library it's just a matter of crazy Mattel would want to go, here are a few examples...

THAT IS AWESOME! I pray that Mattel sees this and gives us Horde Troopers ASAP!
) and the Batmek design!
Love the Batmek Horde TRooper. I'm loving MOTU visions so far, Enil.

filling up my shelf), but I'm glad to see the responses of the people who do enjoy that; I'd be perfectly happy to see everyone get what they want out of this line.
