Hey Everyone,
Well, I'm fairly new to the board, but I have posted a few times already. My name is Craig and I'm a HUGE action figure and comic book junkie. I collect mostly Marvel Comics (X-Men, Avengers, Spiderman, Fantastic Four, etc) and some DC (Titans, Teen Titans, Justice League). I was born in the late 70's, so I was all about the cartoons of the 80's. Masters of the Universe was the first toy collection that I really was passionate about. I remember walking into this retail store we used to have in NJ called Bradlees and seeing the very first line of Masters figures hanging on the shelf. My mom bought me He-Man, Man-at-Arms, and Statos. From that point on, I was a die hard collector of anything He-Man. Yes, I even collected all of the She-Ra toys because of their connection to He-Man. I had every figure, every vehicle, every playset, and every beast that I could find. I was also big into Thundercats, GI Joe, Super Powers, and TMNT (though they came later). I can't tell you how excited I was when Mattel brought back He-Man in the 200x series. I was so disappointed when that line ended, but then came MOTUC and this is THE series of He-Man figures I always dreamed of (at least since I saw what was possible when Marvel Legends launched). So far I've gotten every figure in the MOTUC line with the exception of King Grayskull (who I would still like to add to my collection). I'm in the process of moving right now (Oct 1st is my moving date), but once I'm in my new place, I'll take pics of my display. I'm so excited to see where MOTUC will go. I've subscribed for the end of 09 subscription and for the 2010 subscription. I'm really really psyched about Adora...this is a figure I ALWAYS wanted. I can't wait to see characters like Ram-Man, Man-E-Faces, Evil Lyn, Bow, Sorceress, Queen Marlena, and Catra to join the line. Based on Teela and Adora, I know they'll knock all of the women out of the park.
Well, that's it about me. I just wanted to introduce myself and say how glad I am to have finally joined this board (I lurked for years).
All my best,
Craig
