Greetings from the Road

Hello all!

Well I've been collecting MOTU since I was 3 years old back in 1983. It was and still is my favorite cartoon of all time. No need to explain why... if you're here, you know why.

So I had a pretty extensive collection back in the 80's (although no Castle Grayskull, dam you Santa), and come 2002, I started collecting the new line....but this time, mostly MOC. Any that I opened were doubles of ones I had MOC, and they also had the chip (so I could play with my new Castle Grayskull). Got some pretty good deals at KB actually. Was able to put together most of the collection through KB, and then in recent years I've been filling in the holes.

Since the 2002 line dried up in retail, I've been kinda away from the whole MOTU thing. I kept hearing about exclusives, like Keldor, and Mossman, and Faker, and She-ra... but the resale prices just reenforced that I was done collecting MOTU.

That was until my friend in CA was preparing to goto SDCC this year, and she asked me if I wanted any exclusives. Well I looked at the sheet she gave me... and low and behold... a new MOTU exclusive that I could get in on the ground floor. That was it... MOTU was back on full force.

While she only was able to get me one He-Ro, green stone... it did reinvigorate my love of MOTU... and my completist nature took hold of me, and brought me to ebay. Where I've recently been liberally filling the holes in my older collection's, and been catching up to speed on the classics line.

So here I am... I've lurked here long enough... now I'm registered. So I'll be around.
Just the basics:
I'm 29, male, from NY, although I'm on a road trip right now and currently near Denver. I work in video, audio and new media. I do music and various art project's on the side. I also collect comics... Spider-man is my main guy... Marvel over DC... although Vertigo is currently my favorite (which is DC I know).
