Still learning as I play around with photoshop, this time with Keldor as my subject. This time, I messed around with using more layers. Different layer for his skin so I could easily change the color; different layer for the cape so I could take it on and off.





And before any magic started to corrupt his appearance.



Though as I was doing this I realized that the sword is a little anachronistic for my own interpretation of his past, as I feel he got that half of the power sword after he'd left the Horde (I imagine him changing to blue and eventually to the skull head under the tutelage of Hordak and acquiring the sword after the kidnapping of Adora, when he was stranded back on Eternia). I happen to have another project in mind that addresses more of that....
