    Terror Dactyl AKA Terror Dac

I have had this for a year... Might as well post this picture BBM was supose to complete for me. I was waiting till it was finished but I think this is as far as its ever going to get.

Terror Dac is originally from Preternian times. There he was the leader of a large evil faction on eternia. TD was pulled into the future one day when Hordak was playing with time. This event also horribly disfigured him. Now stuck in the future he finds that he is no longer the smartest kid on the block as he is now interacting with what he views as highly evolved beings. He worships hordak as a god and immediately submited to him. That said... he does long for his past life where he was the ruler of all and most important. And so, while he does hordaks bidding he also is constantly looking for a way to return home.

    THUGBUG

Short bio: Hatched from a chemically mutated prehistoric egg that Leech found, Thug Bug was reared by the Horde and has become one of their strongest warriors. He stands about 10 feet tall towering over most etherians. He was branded by the horde and given spiked knuckles as his best means of battle is as a brawler.
    THUGBUG POWERS

-Extreme strength Equal to He-man (though he is a bit dim so He-man has the upper hand and can outwit him pretty easily)

-Shell given Invulnerability by Shadow Weavers Magic so it can take quite a beating

-Because of his size and ability to use his arms as legs when runner he is able to jump very high and obtain high speeds.

    -4 Brass Knuckle type weapons

-Though he cannot control other insects, he can speak to them and has a large pet often used as a steed by hordak

    Part One
    Escape

Two rear cargo doors flew open from the Horde Chemical plant. First to emerge was Bow who upon taking cover around the corner of the door covered the rest of the rebels as they made their exit. Blasters fired at them from within the complex as horde troopers scrambled to capture the fleeing rebels. Once the last of the rebels had made their way out of the plant bow shot an arrow into the doors control panel and the bay doors slammed shut.

Bow could hear the troopers’ blasts as they worked at taking down the new obstacle in their way. Relieved Bow took a moment to wipe the sweat from his brow before turning to join his comrades. Surprisingly he turned around to find himself nose to nose with Leach.

“Nice try rebel scum; you are mine now.” Leech said as he placed his hands on either side of Bow’s head. Bow immediately felt his body go limp as he lost control of his muscles. He also felt a wave of exhaustion flow through his body, as leech began sucking out his energy.

“Sorry Leach but I’m going to need my friend back. “ Leach turned his head to see She-ra standing atop a large stack of chemical barrels. Distracted by his new foe he dropped Bow to the ground and lunged forward towards She-ra who quickly dove to the side leaving Leach to fall clumsily into the stack of barrels. She-ra scooped Bow up and yelled to the rest of the rebel strike team to make their way over to the bridge but just as she said the words a full squadron of horde troopers appeared at the other side of the river blocking their only escape route. From the corner of her eye She-ra noticed a cargo barge docked just to the far side of the building.

“There” She-ra said as she pointed, “Glimmer take the others and secure that barge, I’ll hold off the troopers while you all make your escape.” She-ra handed Bow off to the others.

Leech was now back to his feet. He lunged at She-ra a second time as she jumped into the air landing on the steed that had suddenly appeared in the air.

“Thanks for the ride old friend” She-ra said to swiftwind as he carried her away from the base.

    Part Two
    Clean Up

Hordak was not happy. Not only had the rebels caused a lot of damage to the facility, but they had also made off with supplies that would surely help bolster their cause. Displeased Hordak assigned Leech to lead cleanup of the cargo port as punishment.

As troopers began working on repairing the cargo bay doors Leach began to retrieve the barrels that had rolled into the water when he had crashed into them. Just before finishing up he noticed one more barrel that had been caught up in a large outgrowth of foliage along the shore line. Wading out through the water Leech felt right at home. This wasn’t so bad after all.

Leach found the barrel and upon discovery saw that it had been breached and most of the chemicals had poured out. He noticed that the outgrowth of foliage was twice the size it was when he had first started out towards it. As he pulled the barrel out from under wines and branches he noticed that many had already grown around it and were almost impossible to break. Looking at the water he couldn’t see any of the chemical and concluded it had all been soaked up by these strange plants. A few shots of his blaster later however it was free and he was ready to return to land with the now empty barrel. As he pulled it free however he noticed an iridescent shine just beneath the water. He grabbed at the object and pulled it from the brush discovering it to be a large shiny egg.

Leach’s eyes widened at his discovery. His first thought was to devour the savory item, but then decided his discovery might help him get back into Hordak’s good graces. Quickly he returned to base.

    Part Three
    Examination

A smile crept across Hordak’s face as he gazed down at the item in Leeches hands. The imbecile had discovered something interesting indeed. From his thrown Hordak pressed a button on its side.

“Modulok, this is Hordak. Leech will be bringing something special down to your lab. I want you to examine it thoroughly and report back to me within the hour.” Hordak then turned to Shadow Weaver and whispered something into her ear.

“Leech, Shadow weaver will accompany you to the lab. Be very careful with that egg. You are on thin ice as it is.”

Leech’s stomach growled as he looked down at the egg. His eyes returned to meet Hordak’s gaze as he replied “Yes hordak”.

    Later...

“The egg seems to be quite old Hordak, possibly hundreds of years old. I can’t be quite sure as the chemicals it was exposed to seem to have reengaged its metabolism and growth cycle and at quite an accelerated rate. “ Modulok explained

“Why didn’t we discover the egg sooner”, Hordak questioned.

“My guess it was much smaller before its cycle was reengaged. I should add sir that this egg doesn’t match up with any known species on Etheria. I can’t be sure what it is we have inside. “ Modulok responded as he placed the egg into a vat of water. It bobbed slightly to the top and Leach noticed it was already twice the size it had been when he had found it.

“Oh I think I know” Hordak said smile filling his face. “How long until the egg fully matures and hatches? “

“At this rate, before nightfall.” Modulok said as Shadow Weaver glided past him and over to the egg.

“Make sure that whatever comes out of that egg knows who is in charge here Weaver. Also see what you can do to speed up its development once hatched. Any enhancing spells your know would be good to try as well. Perhaps performing them on it while it develops will make them permanent. I’ll be in my chambers', and with that Hordak turned to leave.

Weaver looked down at the egg as she dipped one finger nail into the water the egg was floating in. Darkness spread out from it almost like a drop of ink might and it encircled the egg. Shadow whispered something that Leach and Mod couldn’t make out. The water around the egg began to boil and the egg floating in it began to rattle violently. While they had all been talking the egg had grown even large and its sides were now pressing against the glass of its container. Suddenly the container burst and water poured on to the floor taking with it the egg which slammed hard onto the ground.

"Not even a scratch" Modulok said as he examined it. The egg then began to slowly spin and as it did small hairline cracks began to appear and then seconds later the eggs shell disintegrated leaving a humanoid bug creature at their feet.

“He seems to be quite strong I can see why Hordak was so excited by him. At full maturity he’ll be quite a powerhouse,“ explained Modulok as he crouched down to examine the confused creature.

Weaver stepped over to the young one and raised her arms into the air. A black mist surrounded the youngster and it fell asleep. Weaver then began chanting something in a language Modulok and Leech had never heard and it began to ever so slowly mature before their eyes. After a few minutes it towered above the group at 8 feet high.

Suddenly the creature awoke looked at the three before him and shrieked roaring words that sounded much like the ones Weaver had just recited. He flailed about bashing in everything around him. Shadow weaver held up a hand and the creature froze just as one of its 6 limbs crashed into the nearby wall.

“You belong to the horde, You will do its bidding. You will obey.” As Weaver lowered her hand the creature slumped to the floor. It looked up at the dark sorceress and made a few grunts and sounds that almost sounded like speech and then reached out to weaver pulling her forward to embrace her.

Just then Hordak appear at the door. “Weaver really this hardly seems professional. I heard the commotion seems things have developed more quickly than we anticipated. So this is our new recruit.”

The bug-man looked at Hordak with curiosity as it let go of Shadow Weaver. She glided over to Hordak’s side. “He will mature a bit more but for the most part I have developed him to young adulthood. His mind remains unformed though. I trust you would like to personally develop it.” She said.

“Yes, thank you Weaver.” Hordak looked again at his new thug-like henchmen. I think we’ll call this one: Thugbug! Have him branded with the Horde emblem at once and begin his training!

Alot of love went into Terror-Mite, 2-Bad even made a mini comic featuring Modulok and Hordak. He is a great creation and I'd love to see him in figure form.

Thu Bug is a great idea from Patreek as well. He invested alot into the art that accompanied Thug Bug, and it would be nice to see such a behemoth towering over the strongest man in the universe.

I did like Warwolf very much, but I just can't vote for a character that already has a figure. Its too bad Uniquor ended up in this batch, I was hoping to save a vote for my favored underwater warrior.

    Faanglor

Faang-Lor comes from the darkest depths of the Etherian ocean. His people, long thought extinct, Faang-lor has taken the gamble to rise from his home as an Emissary. Angered at the invasion of the ocean by the humans, Faang-Lor seeks help from Hordak, to eradicate them. He's a little mixed up. Recruited, Faang-Lor joins the crack unit of Leech, Octavia and Uniquor, patrolling the depths, and waiting for the Rebellion to slip. Faang-Lor is most at home int he darkness, bright sunlight will burn him. His fins and eyes glow, to the point of luring in his prey, or blinding them. Either way, the fate is the same. His lower jaw can extend, and swallow his prey whole, before the are regurgatated for processing in the Horde labs. His weaponry is very simple, as his race is slightly below par in technology.

NOOO! Not Uniquor head to had with Terror Mite again! Wasn't that where we left off last time.

This is possiby one of the hadest polls. I have 4 characters that i absolutely love & TerrorMite. I hae to support my boy here. In the end it was a toss up between Crorvus & Thug Bug & Corvus won.

    here's pics of Terror-Mite.

    Terror-Mite

From the deepest darkest depths of Horde Science comes a creature so vile that even his creators need to constrain his powers. Terror-Mite was once a rejected Horde experiment. Abandoned after being mutated from his insect form, he was left to rot in the banshee jungle waters surrounding the Fright Zone. But as days passed, his abilities enhanced & before The Horde knew it, they had already lost have of the forest.

Modulok managed to retrieve Terror-Mite back to the Fright Zone & imprisoned. However his appetite grew & he began to chew even metal, with his tensile jaws & pincers by secreting an acidic fluid from his mouth.. Realizing he was a menace, but at the same time, a valuable asset, Modulok created a neck brace, which contained his growing urge to bite off anything in his path & at the same time restrained his jaw motion. Terror Mite has a limited vocabulary & only obeys Hordak’s orders. Having the ability to mow down an entire patch of land in a matter of minutes makes him a valuable asset to the Horde’s already dangerous arsenal. All Hordak needs to do is detach his neck brace. Also, once he’s done with sapping the life out of whatever he eats, his body toxins transform it to pure energy. A tube is attached to his skin on the back gathers this energy & uses it to power Horde machinery.

War-Wolf while quite good has already been made into a figure so I for one see no real reason for him to be in a comp to make him into a figure. Nothing against the guy I just don't get it

same picks for me. Thug bug fit well for me. the rest (no offense to the creators) seemed to be "doubles" of each other (alot of good thinkers in here) Were-wolf and the hyena, Both Mammoths, even Fanglor and terror mite seemed close enough for me.

(i could see a nice mix of both mammoths looking CRAZY cool)

the uniquor character felt like a solo character, not a horde character (i guess it could be a horde version of merman....)

It could be cool if ThugBug and Terror Mite were like that character in the x-factor (i think) comics. where terrormite would live in the top back of thugbug, and come out of him.... dang it i cant find the pictures!! (one is a big robot and small robot, the other is a bug guy with a bunch of little guys with spikes on their shoulders)

All right, first of all I think that all these are great characters, and all have a lot of potential. Unfortunately, there can be only two!

So, here are my comments and votes:

I immediately cast off Corvus, War-Wolf and Uniquor. Sorry, guys, they just look too heroic. Corvus and War-Wolf simply cry "I am a noble protector of the forest!" Uniquor has a bit of a sinister flair to him, but that can be also interpreted as him being all ancient and wise. They are all awesome characters, but they need to either switch sides or change their appearance

Gortusk and Mamattack are affiliation-ambiguous but I just think Snout Spout and Tuskador are enough. Etheria doesn't really need elephant people too.

Faanglor... I just didn't like Faanglor as much as the other guys.

All the others were totally cool and I would have voted for them all if I had 4 votes. Szirt and Terror Dactyl are sooo "hordy", I am sure he would fit in with the other guys completely. Terror-Mite would be a perfect nemesis for Buzz-Off. Thugbug really looks powerful - a bug too big to crush - worst nightmare.

Finally, of those 4, my votes go to: Terror Dactyl and Thugbug

(Can I see them thanking their families and associates, when they receive the award?)

Man that big brute is awsome. He just really fits in the Masters of the Universe mythos. I want this figure in the classics line ASAP. When I look at Szirt The Hyena I think of a fierce Jackalman from the Thundercats and I love that character. They both get my vote.
