Maskless fan-project! How are they without their headgears?

I was just sketching to have fun while I got bolted by this idea.
We have plenty of characters never shown without their helmet/masks, so, how do you figure them out? Here's my take:

Zodac_he's an alien and his nose is flat or he couldn't wear his helmet, I like his eyes to be enigmatic like it appear with the helmet on. Kevin Bacon all the way.
MAA_ we all know how the mustache-inventor is without his supperbowl, but the crusty warrior? I see him really Kurt Russel like.
Stratos_he's a bird man, he has not grey skin, only grey feather/fur all over his body.
Ram-man_he's very Hulk-ish.
Man-e-faces_he's handsome, an actor must be.
Mekaneck_it's not easy with him, I'd like to show him like Brent Spinner but I wanted a younger appearence for him.
Obiously it's a pre-Filmation interpretation as it is my favourite canon.
And you? Show me your take.

good looks for all of them, but I think I like the Stratos the best since his features seem the most enigmatic.

LOL, I think we're envisioning them from the same mind. That's pretty much how I've envisioned them, except I always saw Mekaneck with big 80s hair.

Cool concept and I think they all look great. Personally, I alway envisioned Mekaneck's cybertronics running up the back of his head or even his complete skull. It was easier for me to think of his head as a weapon that way as a kid.

I completely agree, as I said, I was just having fun at work, I'll manage to update Mekaneck that way, thanks.

They all look good.
We've seen MAA, Ram Man and Stratos without helmets, but these ideas are great.
But Mekaneck... I don't know, he is Mekaneck, because of the neck and the helmet, I can't imagine him without it. Still, he looks nice too!

Well, isn't he supposed to be like a werewolf/Hulk creature who turn to a monster and then, to regain control of himself, to a robot?

Mekaneck doesnt need this treatment, in the original toon they show him without a helmet, and after a bad accident MAA fixes him (save his life i assume) and makes him mekaneck, but as far as I recall he cant take it off or he dies.

cool idea though .... and the only reason i bring it up is cuz i've always thought like who signed off on the medical papers to allow MAA to do that to Mecknek ... cuz like save his life sure, but a telescoping neck .... thats going a little far isnt it? ... lol it always made me laugh with how rediculous and crazy it was. There would be law suits if you did that in real life.

Like imagine you're in a car wreck, they save your life, and while they're at it they give you breast implants and a penis enlargment .... would you be like ... THANKS! ... or would you be ******? .... lol

I've retooled the sketch of Mekaneck face. I always figured out Meky to be somehow biologically linked to his suit and helmet, so I added the eyegear, what do you think?

Very good takes, I figured him younger in appearence but this is the right spirit.

Very interesting thread and very cool versions. I prefer MYP/Emiliano version on M-a-A, but second take of Mekaneck just rocks! Ramman, Stratos and M-E-F look all just what characters look in my mind. RAWs Syklone looks famliar too.

Character in right is Rotar and foto is obviously Stratos (that guy, Spede Pasanen was here in Finland something like our version of Mel Brooks).
