    Hi from Manchester, England!

Hi, I'm a new member signing up from the UK and it's great to be on the first forum I've ever joined!

My first forum just had to be He-Man- the original MOTU was such a thing for me growing up- though as a kid I always less into the morals and more into wishing I was in Skeletor's gang!

When I was eight and King Hiss came out he and the snake men became my favourites. I haven't yet had the pleasure of watching their MYP appearances as it's not out on DVD over here yet (I don't think- I've seen a couple of series 1 episodes and the final horde one on youtube).

A very special thing I own is my 1989 MOTU annual with the snake men stories in and the board game where all four leaders race against each other to greyskull! I've read on here that that book is considered not such a great one but I gotta say I love every page. The mini comics with the snake men too- don't know what it was about those guys that really grabbed my imagination.

Was hugely into the 200X line (though less into their snake men redesigns) my favourites of that series are trap jaw, teela, stratos, randor, hordak, mantenna, mosquitor and - oh-my-god-yes - she-ra!!

So, that's a bit about my relationship with the Masters. I've been enjoying Busta Toons and Dave Newman's DVD commentaries, Pixel Dan's reviews and Vimtoman's podcasts for a while now, just gor my She Ra calender for 2010 and felt it was about time to join up.

    For the honour of Greyskull!

thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Hey Killian (and any other Manchester members) I'm guessing you saw the She-Ra calendar in Forbidden Planet. Sometimes these calendars choose really boring shots but I'm well impressed by this one- have it proudly adorning my wall! Also, there are some cool POP greetings cards in- appropriately- Cafe Pop, the retro shop opposite Forbidden Planet. Just in case you didn't already know!!
