but she usually will only say when she really needs me to do something around the house.....

Long time lurker here guys. I finally joined to get some answers as to what in the world happened last week with MattyCollector and Trapjaw and Battle Cat.

I was aware of the MOTUC line for a long time but never pulled the trigger. I finally started picking them up in October. Never had any of the problems described until this last debacle.

Anywho-I am a HUGE Thundercats fan and have the Eye of Thundera tattooed on my leg. Of course, it was He-Man that helped pave the way for them. I remember getting Thunder Punch He Man, Rattlor, Dragon Blaster Skeletor and Rio Blast for Xmas. I think tis was the same year I got Thundercats and Cat's Lair. I picked up a few here and there like King Hiss, Stone Dar, Hordak, Faker and Sorceress. I was one of the very lucky few that had Eternia. My uncle gave it to me in either '87 or 88. I used it for the mutants from Thundercats as their base. I still had Cat's Lair so it was cool to have two different playsets (one for each side). I don't know what happened to it. I supose it got tossed one day. I remember seeing the HUH UGE box in my uncle's laundry room for the longest time. Fantastic artwork. Wish I still had it. I shyed away from collecting MOTU when I got older but the Classics are too good to pass up. I have a MASSIVE GI Joe collection as well as MASK, Dino Riders, Silverhawks and Inhumanoids. I recently moved to Houstom from RI and have my own room for my collection which is still being worked on. I will post pictures when I finish it.

I look fwd to hanging out here and talking MOTU.

Hey, Lody. Welcome to the boards although you did see some horrible carnage on Feb. 16. How did you make out? Did you get what you wanted. Don't worry. It won't be that bad all the time, only when there are bonus figures on sale. March, April and May should be relatively smooth ordering-wise.

Sweet rundown on toys you got/had. Eternia is a pretty sweet haul as a kid. Personally I more of a casual MOTU fan (first Star Wars, second G1 Transformers, third G.I. Joe and fourth MOTU) but it's cool to hear. I too had Thundercats as a child although being a scumbag villain I had only Panthro (nunchuks are cool) but I had all 3 mutants (Ssslythe, Monkian and Jackalman) and Mumm-Ra.

I think you'll like Houston once the warm weather rolls in. Friendly people and a laid back environment. But, being from Rhode Island you might not like the summers. It can get a bit on the warm side. And the humidity is pretty high. Plus you'll have to deal with hurricanes and floods but they aren't too frequent. It's still a pretty good place to live.

So, welcome to the forum and see you around.

Well unfortunately I was having an audit that day so my wife was handling the order. She had two TJ, two BC and a MAA but when the order was processing, TJ sold out. By the time it was finally removed from the cart, BC had sold out.

Double ouch! Well, like I said, the next few month should be a lot easier for orders. As far as TJ and BC, you might be able to get some on BBTS or Brian's Toys.

That's odd... you're wife says I'm the master of the universe too

Just kidding of course... bad joke I know. It's good your wife helps you out though. Mine helps me when I beg her but she doesn't refer to me as the master of anything
