Thats a great Evil-Lyn custom but 200x Evil-Lyn needs her train dress thingy.Where did the cape idea come from,did she wear one in 200x?

Toyguru mentioned a cape on her yesterday, when describing her as a repaint.

I'm VERY curious to see how they do her in MOTUC. Hopefully they can give her an extra helmetless head...and maybe her young head...although her outfit is almost 100% different...so she might warrant another Evil-Lyn.

I personally LOVE the toy's colouring better than any of the others and I PRAY Mattel keeps it to that. The bronze on her makes me gag.

I know you can't give us any specifics or anything, but IF Mattel gets to a pale/purple Evil-Lyn, would she have the same bio as this Evil-Lyn or would it be different (like BA He-Man, etc.)?

Yep.

I would be okay with the same bio, BUT it would kind of be cool if she becomes "transformed" into looking like this. The MVC comic had a story that was going to transform her yellow and blue. So, it would be a cool homage to the comic. We don't know anything ABOUT the story though. So, it would all be new information to us.

As far as magic goes, I would think the neon yellow Lyn would be the result of tampering with some bad-ass spells that gave her some extra boost... and the normal skin tone being... well, her at her normal power level).

I don't know. It's hard to say. She's now white as a sheet or an ash colour. She could be the undead now.

And a 2002 version of the Sorceress is totally fair game. It would mean she would be "Classic-ized" a bit loose some of the over the top hyper detail, but the overall green and blue egyptian look is totally fair game in time.

I suppose the question is, what EXACTLY is meant by "over the top hyper detail", since you keep using the term. What particular "hyper detail" is present in this design:

Okay, there's the wings, but they're straight "angel" wings with no special details (barring a splash of gold paint), and which can be shared with MotUC Queen Angella (and even that's if you can't reuse the wings from DCUC Hawkman).

Otherwise, her headdress, though different, isn't much more complex than vintage Sorceress (the loop at the top isn't much different from Trapjaw's). And her top is not especially complex compared to MotUC Teela's - in a way, it's simpler, since the gold piping (which varies in thickness, BTW. It's particularly thin in that screencap, but if the thinness is a problem, there's other episodes where it's a lot thicker) doesn't need the frilled detail work that MOTUC Teela's received.

I'm just curious as to where the simplification is really needed, if the basic design is "fair game". There aren't exactly a load of "excess pouches and spikes and long hair details" (no hair, actually ) in the design.
