Hello all,
This past fall I stumbled across the "Many versions of Skeletor" videos on YouTube. I wanted to show my son some of the toys I played with as I was a kid...so of course I sat him down in front of Google and away we went. Needless to say...I was floored at the amount of content out here on the intertubes about MOTU. I was also incredibly excited to learn about the MOTU Classics line. (I have some catching up to do with those.) Through the power of ebay I was able to introduce my 4yr old son to He-Man 200x...and several of his friends and enemies, this past Christmas. Who am I kidding...they were for me as much as for him. I had noticed the 200x line when it was in Toys R Us...but was busy with college and did not pay them much attention.
Since I re-discovered MOTU in cyberspace...I have watched the Mike Young cartoon....re-acquainted myself with the 80's cartoon....and developed a serious collector addiction. And I want to thank all of you for it. It's been awesome sharing this toy line with my son and delving into all the info out here. I listen to podcasts on my way to and from work, met the Pop Culture Network guys at C2E2 this past April, and have generally a great time reliving this bit of my childhood.
So I figured it was time to join up on the forums here at He-Man.org. I hope to meet some new people and continue enjoying everything MOTU related.
So what is this Chicagoland sightings thread....I'll be diving into it, in time...but if someone could provide a quick synopsis, it would be appreciated. I am in the Chicago area...so it piqued my interest.

I have the power, and so can you!
Its always awesome hearing about getting the kids involved. My nephew loved the 200x line and even posted here a few times.
