Good thinking. That didn't even cross my mind.

I have all my fingers crossed man! Even my toes! LOL
Maybe he'll be revealed at Toyfair? Lets hope so.

So I guess the next big reveals will be at New York Toyfair 2011 ?

If this is the case, please know that New York Toyfair (NYTF) 2011 will take place from the 13th to the 16th of February 2011 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, New York, United States Of America (source : http://events.hellotrade.com/tradesh...fair-new-york/ ).

Hope we'll see Slush Head and more awesome figures being revealed at NYTF !

Loving the Horde finds in particular! It would be amazing to get the Troopers as the next two-pack (after Palace Guards)

I really feel like 2011 could have some very nice figures in store for us indeed.

From the few figures we already know of for sure (Bow, Vikor, King Hsss, Shadow Beast, Battle Armor Skeletor, Swiftwind, Faceless One) and from the trademarks we got lately (Horde Troopers, Modulok, Multibot, Rattlor, Tung Lashor, Lodar, Clamp Champ, Leech, Mantenna...), I have a feeling 2011 can be a really awesome year !

Let's pray that we won't be disappointed !

This is slightly off-topic, but I just noticed Mattel used to have a live trademark for Shadow Beast in 2001 as well. Over the years, has anything ever been mentioned about Mattel wanting to do a Shadow Beast in the 2002 line?

"Night of the Shadow Beasts" was one of the episodes.

I really hope so, the NA characters, while not my favorite assortment, are appearing too slowly.

Big thanks to everyone for doing all the detective work, but I wonder - do these reveals make reveals at events like SDCC less exciting?

All of the reveals had TMs so none were a huge surprise - nobody expected Adora because there was no trademark and no expectation.

Makes me wonder how they'd tackle announcing the Filmation rights if it ever happens - because a reveal like that would surely be the biggest for the MOTUC line and Mattel wouldn't want it ruined by a TM reveal...
Most-wanted MOTUC: Granita - Hunga the Harpy - The Melog - Dylamug - Sprag, Sprocker and Spritina - the Twiggets - King Ahgo - Filmation Grizzlor, Mantenna, Leech, Modulok and Multi-Bot

Sounds like a great list of figures. I can't wait for the Horde Troopers. That's going to be a mad rush to the computer that day. When those are released, I'll probably for the first time buy the maximum! And then I may come back in and do it again. Horde Troopers rule!

They are another race on Eternia, they show up all over the mini-comic: He-man and the insect people. I always assumed they were flies.

Catra, Sweet Bee, and Swiftwind were trademarked earlier this year

I think the fact that Mattel won't invest in the TM-ing of all the characters at once betrays the fact that they, as usual, are not interested in investing in MOTU for the long term. It's almost like they would rather make as big but as quick a buck as possible and then if the line doesn't survive on it's own, can it (let's face it, the property, as always, sells itself... Mattel doesn't need to actually DO anything, except refrain from bungling it).

I know they say it'll run until 2017, and I believe that (Marvel Legends is STILL trucking along), but Mattel isn't really doing much to make that happen; mattel is lucky that way.
    A Want List
Mini Comic Tri-Klops, Toy costume Catra, Enchantress, Kayo, Joya, Lt. Andra, Storm, Twiggets, Melaktha, Spirit, Kothos, Master Sebrian, Scrollos, 200X Sorceress, King Miro. Filmation: Adora, Marzo, Leech, Entrapta, Glimmer, Bow, Catra w/ Cat Form, Mermista, Moss Man, Kobra Khan, Whiplash, Multi-Bot

Isn't the required window between the registration of a trademark [(R), not TM - you can claim TM without registering] and first use relatively narrow [a couple of years, vs a 5-7 year window between first and subseqent uses] to retain the (R)?
