I agree the bios seem to MYP heavy handed sometimes but I did like him being a descendant of the Snake men. So I'm in the Snakemen Yes!!! group.

In the 80's cartoon episode "The cold Zone" Kobra Khan was a member of the Reptons, a snakemen race.

He's a self-interested, back-stabbing, two-timing snake in the grass who sucks up to both Skeletor and King Hiss. He serves both but is loyal to none.

For me the reptons are descendants from the Snakemen, and because Kobra Khan is a Snakemen.

To me he is a descendant of the real snakemen, he worked for Skeletor under false pretences to gain access to the viod so he could release King Hsss and the true Snakemen (200X canon and classic canon combined)

I find this character really interesting. In my mind, I'm going with him being a descendant of the snakemen. He is one of Skeletor's crew and then switches to Hiss like in the mini comics.

Now where he's loyalties lie from there on is anyone's guess. I'd say he'd rather stay loyal to Hiss...but if that falls apart or maybe to save his own skin, it'll be right back to Skeletor.

Khan is going to go where he gets the best deal.

P.S...there is no option for me in the poll. I go with middle ground.

This poll is about his lineage and not about his loyalty. If he is a Snake Man, there's not going to be any more "middle ground" than if you were to say you have English in your background. It would be yes or no.

I say distant relative. For me, KK has always been a part of Skeletor's 'entourage' of henchmen. The fact he is a snake (no pun intended) doesn't mean is a Snake Man.

I always thought of Kobra Khan as a Snake Man even before the Snake Men were introduced into the vintage line.

While I see Kobra Khan as part of the Snake Men race, or a descendant if you will, I don't see him as a dyed in the wool (or is that scales?) loyalist for King Hiss. So Snake Man by race, not by faction.

To me it seems he was never as "strong" as the others.

In the original if I remember correctly he was happy to serve and never thought about taking over the world alone.

In the 2002 he was all about releasing the others then everyone seemed more afraid of them.

I like him as distant relative who's sided with Skeletor.

This is my view on Kobra Kahn, except his agenda is more in line with Hiss than Skeletor's. So he works more often with Hiss than Skeletor. But he's still all about himself in the end. As for his lineage, he's a descendant of the Snake Men.

I hope they use something like this in the MOTUC bio. I also wonder what would have happened if the 200x toon had continued. Would Khan have got tired of being ill treated by the rest of the Snakemen and started spying for Skeletor ultimately aiding in King Hisss defeat. I think this would be a good way to include both the 200x toon and mini comic in the bio.

Plus he's just cooler than the rest of the Snake Men.

Obviously he is a Man what is a Snake. And when I saw the Snake Men, clearly he would have been one if the Snake Men had been a concept when he was created.

But no, he is one of Skeletor's Evil Warriors. Heh, and frankly it's racist to suggest that he would be one just because of his race.

    Just kidding. Kinda.

But at any rate, that's why I like how MYP delt with it. Yes, he was technically a Snake Man, No, he was never part of King Hiss's Crew, but Yes, he'd certainly join up after they showed up again, but not as a full member per say.

I voted Distant Relative. But I would be completely happy if he was not a "Snake Man" faction member in MOTUC. I'd actually prefer it. Whether he was from the Snake Man race or not.

Let Cammo Khan be a snake man. He had the symbol anyway didnt he? And it'd be a great "refresh" bonus figure after Khan came out himself.

Since Mattel has stated they want whatever story allows for the most characters, I truely hope/believe this is prescisly what they'll do.

Can they make Cammo Khan, has this been addressed? I belive it has.

Like many, I consider him part of Skeletor's crew until King Hiss and the Snake Men made their return to Eternia. After that, he switched loyalties.
Just like in the MYP cartoon. But in my mind, he was truly a loyal minion to Skeletor before King Hiss returned, not a spy or double agent.
Camo Kahn is for sure a Snake Man

Itís a weird dilemma because the action figure and his look totally to me makes him a snake man but the filmatiin and classics bios identify him as a repton, a relative of the snake men, so thatís where I stand, totally torn between what he looks like and what the past media has already said about him

Technically he's just a distant relative, but all things considered he is a Snake Man!
