    Are Roboto's shoulders backwards?

I was watching Pixel Dan's review and noticed something wrong in Roboto's shoulders. I think they are backwards, just like the first run of the He-man figures. I put some pictures side by side, from the vintage figure and the one that was in the Comicon. The vintage one have a wire that goes from the shoulder to the bicep. In the MOTUC figure the same wire is in te bicep but not in the shoulder. But if you turn the figure the wire is in the back!
    So what do you think?

NOTE: I posted this before in the wrong forum...

    Oh good grief.

    You're right.

    Of course they'll deny it.

Why is it that every opportunity to make QC errors seems to be warmly embraced by this company? I love the great level of respect they have for the 4H's work. (eye roll).

    Sigh.

I think you may be right.

Thankfully, it's not a deal breaker. I hope I don't obsess over it, since I can be pretty nuts about that stuff. If it is wrong, it figures that it would be on a character with so few paint apps to end up sloppy. It's certainly the worst figure for someone ambitious to try and crack open to switch the parts.

I'll live with it if it turns out that it's a goof. The shoulders themselves don't bug me as much as all the little things add up to make me more nervous about what could show up in the mail over the course of my sub next year.

Thanks for pointing this out. Even though it doesn't ruin the figure if mine ends up this way, somethings really got to be done to stop this sort of thing before a similar simple error does ruin something down the line.

Oh no! I wonder if they are all wrong or just some of them.

    Look at the 2 dots:

The Vintage figure as the dots backwards, the MOTUC version has them in front.

Maybe Dan can look, if his figure has also the twisted shoulders?

That's a pity but it's not that a big deal I think, if one needs the vintage figure to notice.

    Good job, spotting that though!

It's things like this that really make me upset that they don't show us figures beforehand. We are the best quality control in the world when it comes to MOTUC (someone picked this out almost immediately after Pixel Dan did his review for crying out loud) and they don't show us anything until it is too late. Sad.

Obviously it doesn't look horrible but like first-release he-man, a few turns of the shoulder pieces and you'll have nice indentations from where the socket in the torso is grinding against the shoulder piece.

My first-release he-man has that and it happened after only a few different poses.

Oh nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! The shoulders are really backwards...so we have to wait for the re-release for those who care...this is soooo stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!! Thanx Mattel! Great catch, I didn't see it, but now that I know I am ******!

They are wrong in Pixel Dan's video as well, which most likely means they are wrong on all figures!!! I hate that. Now we have to wait for the re-release!

    Oh geez...

How excited I am to have already spent $50 for this "defective" figure. 2 subs plus shipping, and another $50 for the corrected re-issue. That´s $100 to get the 2 actionfigures I wanted in the first place.

That really ****** me off. I am getting 2 with the sub and I really can't stand the backwards shoulder thing. Now to wait for the rerelease and have to buy an extra? Give me a break. My first he-man also has the issue where the shoulders wear down cuz of rubbing from the chest and biceps.

Good eye Jamps! Yep, those definitely look backwards... and probably something they'll fix on the reissue, thereby getting me to buy him a second time. Grumble grumble...

It's may be a relatively minor mistake (just like He-Man's backwards shoulders) but I think I will hold out for the corrected reissue.

Sad, as Roboto is one of my favourites.

Are we sure they weren't on backwards at SDCC? In the first two pics, it seems like the vertical conduit line continues down the arm on the non-SDCC one (2nd pic).
