Awesome suggestions! I totally forgot about Trap Jaw! I wanted to do him up after Tri-Klops.

I think I'll start with Panthor (maybe get Battle Cat done too) and then hit up Spikor and Two-Bad with a Heroic Warrior thrown in. I'll do Teela and Evil-Lyn as soon as I can nail down their look so they'll be my priority in that regard.

Well, it seems everybody enjoys the the first project much more so I'm going to reconsider what I want to do with this. It's quite fun but maybe more for me to just doodle with. It never was meant to compare. Just something in a different direction.

I like this new series! Sllohcin-Vision was amazing, but I really do hope you continue with World of He-Man! At least see it through for us get the core characters from it

I for one really enjoy this project/series - please, keep them coming!

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Maybe just go a bit more and then let it peter out and see what I want to do.

I re-read my previous message and please don't read anything into it either. I'm not distressed or anything. I was thinking that maybe I "missed" the cool factor and need to go back to the drawing board.

While I do like your first project A LOT, I think this one is separate. The first project is a perfect 5 inch line with more articulation and accessories, while this new project just screams "Imaginext" to me. Heck, they even line up with Imaginext toys in terms of articulation, too! If these figures were the same size of Imaginext figures, then think of all the little vehicles and playsets! I don't know if these were meant to be that size, but if you like the idea, then I'd love to see how you'd style a Castle Grayskull for these guys.

lol No... I won't be doing both. One is more than enough.

Okay, so I guess this project will be my thing as I continue to find myself toying with ideas and designs.

I finally nailed down the women. They were much more shapely when I first started but my goal was to fit a style.

Teela and Evil-Lyn will all have alternate heads. I'm not sure who else I'll elect to have a second head, etc.

I'm happy with the outcome. I'm doing my best to stay fresh from my last project. I see her as still the Captain of the Royal Guard (which is now just a small Nation versus the Planetary army of Eternia we're all used to) and she carries more of her Mother's powers. I like the idea that she has an unrefined innate sixth sense (telepathic precognition.) It's what makes her so capable against her otherworldly foes in combat.

Cool! Totally preferring the 200x head. The Filmation one looks too grandma-ish for me... could be the size/height of the hair?

Thanks oICEo While I don't see the FILMATION head as Grandma-ish, I can totally understand where you're coming from in that it is a dated doo! I thought it was just a fun addition though The head/look I envision as the "main" head will always be the head I place on the rendered version of the character (ie. in this case it would be the 200X hair styled head.)

Nice job on Teela - it would have been interesting to see the "curvier" version, but I definitely like what you turned out.

I really enjoy that you've given her two head options.

Agreed! I think she looks great, but I'm also curious about this "more shapely" version. The alternate head idea is cool too, lets you choose a more modern or more Filmation-esque style for your collection.

P.S. I really like the quick links in the main post, they are convenient!

    Thanks everybody

I decided to finish up one that I toyed with while designing up Skeletor.

Scare Glow. If you squint while looking at the rendered version, he looks really cool

I think it would be awesome for Scare Glow to be one of Skeletor's mainstay henchmen. He would possess the same powers as the vintage incarnation did too. His "glow" (which he can control day or night but would be MUCH more powerful at night) would render his enemies "frozen" with fright.

I really wanted to go with the classic look but to take his head in an alien direction (I almost added some small devil horns.) I figure it would add to his creepy factor. Also, I decided to go all out on his cracked skull. Not sure what would be inside though... if you looked. Maybe just a "deeper" gouge or my car keys or something.

    * No, he's not wearing Batman's utility belt. It's supposed to be Skeletor's chest armour bat sigil thing.

Well, don't leave this project just yet. Continued look at it makes it grow on you. I think so far, I like Beast Man more than the rest for some reason. Keep on it!

Uhm, forget Beast Man! Scareglow rocks!

Big fan of that scareglow redesign, but I must ask- Is there a reason his hands aren't glowing like the rest of him?

I wasn't sure what people would think of this "different" take on Scare Glow. I just fell in love with the alien head design concept. I actually see him very similar in movement and creepiness as the "Angel of Death" character in Hellboy II or like the Ambassador in LotR (Return of the King) that comes out on his own at the Black Gates (the creepy teeth guy.)

Thanks and the reason is just bad glow placement. Sorry.

    Now we come to Faker.

I chose him so that I could experiment with the whole steampunk feel. A few gears and small changes is all he would need at most. Skeletor's armour but different. I'm kind of torn though. I'm not sure he's a success.

Also, I felt his sticker needed to be taken to a new level so I went the route of it being "embedded" in his chest.

    *** EDIT ***
The updated "final" design can be found on the next page (quick link HERE!)
