Fantastic!

One of the UK VHS tapes revealed the top of the film - You can see that the live-action background is cropped at the top, but that the lightning continues to go into the black area...

How cool is that?

That is very cool (for those that love little instances like these about the classic cartoons).

I also have a video capture of Prince Adam's missing hand from "Dawn of Dragoon" - The camera pans up to the sword, but too quickly, showing the edge of the cel - This was not present on the DVD version...

That's actually the reason I WOULDN'T buy it... I don't have a bluray player, I have no use for it...

However I hold no illusions... and eventually I'll end up having to break down and buy one...OR whatever the next big thing is AFTER bluray.

I think this show should continually be remade into whatever the current format of choice IS....

We're talking about a Blu-Ray release of the 1984 movie, not a new one, how could that have "improved animation"?

If they cleaned up the film, plus had a bucket load of extra's, a ton more than was available on the DVD, then I would consider paying £12.99 for the Blu-Ray!

I've noticed that Mill Creek had been releasing a fair amount of blu-rays lately. If one for Secret of the Sword comes out, it will probably be on the cheap end from a company like Mill Creek with no new extras.

Would have to include some pretty good special features and bonus features. An art card or two wouldn't hurt, either.

I already have all the boxed sets ect related to MOTU and POP. I just need the NA box set. I'm working on that.

no thank you. I dont have a blue ray player, and I am in no rush to get one. I dont care if they do it, I just am not interested.
