My finished New Years themed POP fan art featuring Madam Razz & Broom. Many thanks to Peggi (DeviantArt's own *wolfepaw) for allowing me to use the fantastic fractal art as the background for this...it simulated fireworks quite beautifully.

I have to say though that I had to lighten & reduce opacity to the background so that Razz & Broom would stand out and Peggi was more than happy to let me make those changes. And yes JafariStew, I feel strongly about giving credit for any original artwork or literature that is borrowed or used. It's the academic in me from my uni days...if you didn't reference something then it was tantamount to plagiarism which is theft & goes against copyright laws & what have you. So yes, I do give credit & if I don't know the artist in question then at the very least, I'm honest enough to confess it is something that I've borrowed or adapted & I do at least give a web reference so others can go see it if they wish.

People are inherent copy-cats & my thinking is that if I continue to do the right thing & thus, lead by example, then others may follow suit. It's all too easy to do the wrong thing & use the excuse that "everyone else is doing it" to justify it.
