    Meteorbs In MOTUC?

The Meteorbs are obviously a touchy subject with fans. Even a lot of the vintage diehards refuse to acknowledge their existence in MOTU.

Would You Buy Meteorbs If They Were Released For MOTUC?

NOTE: The one option should read "I'd Rather BUY Porta Potty Orko!!!"

transforming rocks. reminds me of the movie Big when a guy presents a robot that can transform into a building and hanks is like, "what fun is a building? it just sits there"

I really hope that the Meteorbs get the MOTUC treatment.

    I'd happily buy them all!!

I hope they get made for the people who want 'em, but I'm definitely not one of the people who want 'em, and I won't be picking any at all up if they're produced.

I never had them as a kid and they just scream 80's cheese(back when it seemed like everything turned into a robot), but I'd love to get them for MOTUC(although I'm sure we won't since even NA & POP seems to have been left until the line's last remaining years).

I understand your point and thought the same thing about the Rock Lords as a kid(I had left MOTU before the Meterorbs were released), but if you think about it, Megatron, one of the most popular Transformers ever, used to be a small handgun that someone else would have to shoot(at least in some media). At least the Meteorbs(and Rock Lords) are shown to be able to fly through the air of their own volition. I'd rather risk a bullet wound than a giant rock falling on me.

i guess, but a gun sounds like a lot more fun to play with than a rock.

i remember having rock lords as a kid and when they were in rock form they didn't do anything. it was just a disguise. not like a car which can then be driven. anyway, it just made me think of that movie.

as for these, i'd probably skip them as i have zero memory of them and thus no attachment.

I voted yes, if they were MOTU I want the in MOTUC.
I also had 4 of them in my childhood, so I feel nostalgic affection toward them.

You do have a point there. I never really thought about playing with the robot's transformed disguise. Playing with rocks when you are a kid is never fun whether they are real or made of plastic.

I voted "Maybe", cause I try to never say never, but the 4HM would have to do something REALLY cool to make me interested, and even then I'd probably only get 1 or 2.

So, really "probably not" is my answer

This is the one time I'd like to see beasts/figures made in a different scale then it was in the vintage line. If the meteorbs are bigger then they could potentially be very cool. They were pet sized when compared to the original figures.

    Sorry but no.

Hated them then, still hate them now.

Twistoid and Rotar are already stretching it and I thought they were kinda "blah" as a kid but I still had them. I didn't even give in to the Meteorbs as a kid so I'm good on those.

I'm gonna say no. Unless they turn from a meteor to animal to humaniod or something a little extra. Maybe even if they come a different saddle so either the heroic warriors or evil henchmen can ride them into battle.

But a plain rock that turns into something Cringer would laugh at? No, thanks.

No the Meteorbs are probably the thing I want least in MOTUC. I'd even rather have Twiggets lol.

Oh yeah, I'd buy 'em. I'd buy 'em now if they made them; same way they are. But if the 4H made them? HECK YES. Oh yes. I dunno what they would do, but I bet you it would be awesome.

If they are completely rebuilt from scratch then why not, they could be great.
But if it's "vintage like" as it is the policy for the MOTUC line right now then NO, I don't want, they would look horrible!

I voted for the option 3

If the 4H design them for MOTUC, then I'd definitely buy them. So, a big "YES" for me.

I voted for other, because I only really want are Ty-Grrr and Astrolion, although if they were solid in packs I might be willing to buy more of them. Personally I think if they did Ty-Grr Astrolion and Comet Cat in a Cringer sized scale it would be a great way to get three more characters out of a sculpt that would otherwise only yield to characters.

The only two I could see as part of MOTUC are the humanoid figures, Cometroid and Gore-illa. They could probably share some parts (arms, legs, torso). If they were made to the same scale as the MOTUC figures, they could be cool.
