    My MotU Art

Castle Grayskull, done with oil on 11x17 canvas. It's my first attempt with oils. The resolution/lighting sucks but I enjoyed doing this!

Orko, done with Acrylic, black marker, glue stick and sparkles on 11x17 bristol board, used image from MotU comic for reference

Skeletor, pencilled then coloured in photoshop and added effects, used the NECA statue for reference.

Tu-Badd Victorious, pencilled then coloured in photoshop. I used a VERY similar image from a MotU comic for reference, replaced a royal guard with He-man. It was submitted and inserted to the fan art section of MotU comic, Issue 1, Volume 3.

Before the serious critiques start, I just want to add I am NOT an artist... I had fun with these but clearly I have some developing to do.

Hmm... I tend to disagree. Seems like you have some skills that just need a little practice.

    Thanks for sharing.

Pretty good stuff you got. Really like the Grayskull and Orko pics. Well done.

For someone who is not an artist, you certainly show a lot of promise. With the talent you have, I'd sign up for classes and start honing your skills. Your pieces pop now, but with training, they'll blow us out of the water. Can't wait to see more.
I love an all inclusive canon!

The first, the Grayskull, shows a definate, unique style that I'd move with - very medieval representational.
"This is a rather shameless promotion"

    "Me too!"

Thanks for the kind comments guys. I do a project once in a blue moon and they can sometimes take me a while to complete. (I have other stuff that non motu too but nothing too fantastic.) It's all about the amount of time I have between work, friends and other hobbies. I should take more art days.
