Here we go again... King Hssss has reversed shoulders.

Here's a pic of the proto-

Notice how the scales line up between the upper shoulder and the bicep.

    Here's the production figure-

Notice how they don't line up anymore? Yeah, they're reversed. And it's not just this one... All 5 Hssss figures that my friends and I received are like this. It's way worse than it was with Roboto, as now not only do the scales not match up, but the joint has A LOT of trouble moving. Terrible.

Just to illustrate how it should look, I turned one of the arms around for this pic-

To me, this is a pretty unforgivable error after the Roboto debacle.

You may want to give it another look. The "points" of the scales should be more towards the chest, not the back.

Please take a pic if it is correct! I'd love to know if all 5 of mine are wrong so I can send them back.

That's a shame, doesn't look as good with them reversed like that and as you say, may get in the way of articulation. After the Roboto uproar how on earth did this end up happening? Seems pretty sloppy.

Mine are probably reversed as well but I opened 2 last night and didn't notice so it's not a big deal for me.

Seriously, when is Matty going to address the issues regarding quality control? With the price we're paying. We shouldn't have to worry about these types of issues! I know some say that it's not a big deal. But it is! People are so quick to judge Digital River for their poor service. But this goes to show that Mattel is not doing their job in making sure these figures are being put together correctly! And they refuse to go about fixing the issue. We get the same excuse that it will be fixed on the reissue. But guess what! You will have to pay to get the fixed version! Sorry Matty you sold us a defective figure! Your the ones who should fix the issue and send us the corrected version at no cost for your blundering mistakes!

There, I'm done with my rant.

This is why the subscription is a good idea. The hardcore fans get ripped, while the cherry-picking fans like myself get the chance to abstain from buying faulty product.

In other words - thanks for the warning. I'm glad I missed Hisss this time & I'll be missing him again on the next sale date.

I'll buy him when fixed - or when the 200x version comes out.

well I wonder what the excuse is going to be this time. There right on the proto and that was the excuse for roboto. No one noticed on the proto.

Have to go and check Pixel Dan's video review.

Maybe they need to make all the arms removable like TJ so we can fix them ourselves.

If you could pull the arm off like on TJ, then boil and pop the shoulder joint from the upper arm, you could swap them around.

    Alas, it's just a dream!

Okay... popped the arm off so I could check it out and see if it is indeed backwards...

Notice how the back of the joint has the indent for the bicep, while the front angles up? Let's take a look at the opposite arm on Skeletor-

Here we see that the indent is up front, and the back angles up... as it should be. Look at them side-by-side:

And lastly, layered on top of each other to illustrate that this was meant to be the left arm's shoulder, not the right:

Oh... and just like Roboto, this wasn't a factory assembly error, it was an error in the molding. Roboto's shoulders were incorrectly marked with an "R" on the left shoulder, and a "L" on the right... so are King Hssss's. So it probably is like this across the board, since the workers would have assembled them according to the way the shoulders were marked, not by what looked best.

For plus $30 a pop now w/ shipping and taxes this is getting ridiculous! Where is the QC for this "Adult Collector's" line?
