    2011 SDCC Toys at Comic Bug thru 5/10

    This was posted on Matty's Facebook. Hopefully some .orgers from California can go and check out the MOTUC exclusives, get some nice pictures and who knows, maybe even a walkthrough video? I LOVE those.

    Hey Everyone,



    You saw ‘em on TV, you’ve seen ‘em online and now, if you’re in Southern California, you can see ‘em in person! Our good friends at The Comic Bug, a comic book shop in Manhattan Beach, CA, have our 2011 SDCC products on display today through Tuesday 5/10. If you love toys and you’re local, here’s where to go:

    In the happy coincidences department, Saturday May 7th also happens to be Free Comic Book Day (always the first Saturday in May) so even if you’re not in Southern California, you’ll want to stop by your local shop and pick up a freebie comic book!

    It's not in their main events list, but in their news ticker to the left, they have it...with a link that leads you to Matty's SDCC exclusives.

    I added this news to the main page of the .org. It says it has to be approved. I've never added a news event before, so I hope it all works out!

    With gas at $4.30, that two and a half hour drive can cost me $80 just to see the long awaited Queen. No thanks, I'll be patient and wait till July and use that $80 to buy her instead, along with some DCUC.

    Sorry Mern-Ra, but your name is hard to spell!

    I know it sounded totally wrong but I do want to see what's under the Queen's dress! I mean, a few of us have been pretty curious about what that new torso looks like. Toyguru said he would post photos of the new buck torso but nothing has filtered so far, correct?
