I really like that his armor is longer, and not a belly-shirt like Hordak. I hope this trend continues.

Thanks for the review Dan it was great as usual. I think Clawful looks awesome and I am so excited to get him! When his head is looking down he actually starts to look a bit more sinister. Can't wait!

Great review as usual! Like the figure a lot. Not sure on the snap back feature with the claw but if it can hold other clunky weapons then I'll be okay with it.

I love that Clawful have an "action feature" (this means Mantenna can pop-eyes because his head is a new sculpt with a movable part just like Triklops and easier to do than Clawful´s claw action feature).

Dan, can you post a comparison pic with the back of vintage and classics figures? Im curious to compare how different are both versions...

Great review! It really does seem like a long time since there's been a "classic" figure release in this line! I'm really looking forward to getting him.
And I feel this question has to be asked of every figure in this line for the foreseeable future: Confirmation of the shoulders being on the right way? They look ok in the video, and on TheFwoosh.com's review, but it'd be nice to hear it from a trusted source.

I agree here. I always disliked the snapping claw feature (and all action figures that have the whip arms, kick legs, etc.) so I was SUPER excited to finally be able to display him with his claw open or closed! I mean, that's what this line is all about, displaying things...it's an adult collector line! I was super excited and pumped...and when Pixel Dan showed his claw actually snaps back, I was GUTTED!

Oh man... At least PD made the joke about him being able to say his own name, that really softened that shocking blow and made me laugh.

I hope customizers will find a way to take that snap-back feature out of his claw.

Anyway, he's awesome, his colours pop right out at you and I can't wait for him!

Even though the Muppet look wasn't mentioned I do believe Dan was attempting to send a subliminal message by wearing a Sesame Street shirt. Lol!

Great review Dan. I really like that shield so am glad the colour is a little less metallic.
As soon as you pointed out the click the claw makes I though 'he'll be able to say his own name then,' and then you said exactly that

It might of been nice to be able to pose that big claw open though. It's also a shame those pegs on the back shell are visible.
Glad to see the armor is longer now and not the boob tube's hordak and he-ro had.

In that shot with him in with the other villains I felt like I found Waldo when I saw him! LOL.

Ok, great review. I'm curious though, I thought when we first saw him that his shield could attach to his back. Is that still possible??

I wonder why Mattel put the male part on the forearm instead of the weapon (claw) unlike with Roboto and Trap Jaw where the male part was on the weapon. I thought I read that it was more stable to have it Trap Jaw's way due to pins or something in the forearm.

I think Clawful looks great. The only thing I'd change on him would be to make the small claw maybe 20% larger. I think it would look more balanced that way.
