This is from the Force Link 2-pack and has the big flamethrower backpack. Hasbro put a lot of detail into the sculpt, then gave it little paint budget. I went over it with a fine paintbrush and added missing silver wear, then mixed yellow to paint the side strip on the helmet.

Another addition to my ever growing modern G.I.Joe collection, apparently an internet exclusive vehicle pack; Arctic H.I.S.S. tank. The tank is missing the side basket attachment and driver is missing his stand, minor accessories that does not affect the coolness factor.

    Figma Megumin
    Figma Mordred

Note on Megumin, her hat attaches to her head with a clear plastic semi disk that is not part of her hat. About as thick as thick but not cardstock paper, the design has a notch that goes between her hair pieces and when I went to place it the plastic came out and doesn't really go back in well.

I got in another Skylark Choose Your Own Adventure book, The Evil Wizard:

I also got in a near mint and complete 1983 G.I. Joe APC (Amphibious Personnel Carrier):

And to sit in the passenger's seat of the APC, I got a 1985 Barbeque figure:

Always wanted a female character from Transformers, so I guess this will do, massively discounted price at Toys R Us Windblade, love her at combiners war cartoon series. Doesn't really mixed well with my vintage G1 set but It's all ok with me.

It was a booktastic weekend in the mail as I got signed and numbered limited editions of The Art of Ploog Volume 1 and [/I]Volume 2[/I] which collect the artwork of Marvel artist Mike Ploog:

I also got in The SNES Omnibus Volume 2 N-Z by Brett Weiss:

Lastly, I got a driver for my recently acquired G.I. Joe APC, 1983 Short Fuze:

"Wheresoever on earth he dwells, man is prey to two weaknesses: the need to pray and the need to love."-Marquis de Sade

Picked up one of the blind-boxed Target-exclusive "Artist Series" Uglydolls yesterday. They're designed to look like the classic dolls, with the sort of "flattened" feel that they had. I ended up with Moxy, the one I have a "modern" doll for already, so nice to have one of each!

I finally got my hands on a Star Wars: The Black Series Mace Windu last week. He's a very, very cool figure. Very fun to pose and he actually comes with a Jedi robe as well.

I got in 2 label sheets from Toyhax, the first being for Mastermind Creations Invicta (a.k.a. Autobot Sky Lynx):

And a set for Unique Toys' Lashlayer (a.k.a. Decepticon Combaticon Blast Off):

Lastly, I got my reward package for a book I helped Kickstart, Brandon Starr's Sketches of the Macabre and the Supernatural

Included with the book were prints, a lenticular card of the cover art, a postcard of the cover art and a commissioned sketch:

Plus Brandon was cool enough to include an extra sketch drawing of original art that appears in the book itself!

    boxed "ultimate" 12" Jango Fett

    boxed OTC 12" Boba Fett

Sideshow ESB Boba fett blaster, as Hasbro, in typical Hasbro fashion, was too much of a cheap penny-pinching company to include it

I'll keep them boxed for now but I may eventually replace the bodies on both, since Hasbro 1:6 bodies are not very good. It will still work out much cheaper than the Sideshow or Hot Toys figures and look decent enough for display. This will of course further upset some idiot alt-right action figure repainter who has been mad at me for 6 years since I made that 1:6 Cobra Commander custom kitbash, because I wouldn't be his best friend after he flipped out for me not gluing 2 parts together the way he suggested and because he was a pawn of the joecustoms.com staff, a site which had banned me at the same time. Nor can he afford 1:6, he only buys Walmart toys and wipes cheap acrylics on them he buys with his wife's paycheck because he has no job. I don't need or want to be friends with the alt-right and the fact he's still crying about it 6 years later is a sign he's not right in the head- but you know, he's alt-right so.....

TVC Kylo Ren off Amazon for $8, figured that was fair for a SA figure when all the 5 POA versions are about that online. I had hoped to get the 5 POA version from Rogue One but my local Dollar Tree either did not get those in like others have, or the scalpers already cleared them out. It would be nice to display with Vader & Maul but it's not a character I wanted to spend a lot on, and the 5 POAs are a fine example of why characters with robes and 5 POA joint cuts do not not very good.

I've seen the Force Link starter set on eBay for $6 shipped but I have no need for Commtech 2.0 and the Kylo in it is kind of boring.

Found a deal on a PowerA pro controller:

Someone traded it into a store I frequent often, after using it maybe once. So I took
a chance on it. Works great. Saved a good ten bucks.

About a week back I bought a Homestar Runner t-shirt that was reduced heavily, with the draw that you got an entirely "lucky dip" from random stock. Finally got it today, I got the "Teen Girl Squad" one, so at least something "mainstream" from the choices!

Recently started haphazardly collecting some Happy Meal toys from McDonald's. It all started with the Snoopy in this picture I got a few months ago. Then, a few weeks later, I got Luigi - never could get my hands on Mario, though. Now, I've got a Thor with Stormbreaker. Just need to get Iron Man and Cap next.

Thanks! I haven't been so excited for a Happy Meal or Kids' Meal toy since the Smurfs and California Raisins when I was a kid.

Two great figures for customizing. I made my ultimate Boba Fett out of those two figures and a better articulated body. No photos, and he is boxed away.
