And I added to my latest cover homage commissions with this 11" x 17" Thor #359 piece by Karl Janot featuring Vega and The Baroness:

Here is the original cover as it appears:

Lastly, since this commission took longer than anticipated, Karl decided to include an 11" x 17" pencil sketch at no extra cost:

That Thor piece is awesome! I like how he added the claw marks across the title

Yes, me, if only Hasbro may open internatonal orders and payment plans. Actually, I was more tempted with last year's Sentinel

Got the Marvel Legends Dr. Doom (the one with the white cloak and molded chest plate).

It strikes me as funny that as part of a build-a-figure line, rather than a piece of Xenmu he comes with Thanos's skull and spine. It's like they originally planned to have Thanos be the build-a-figure, but Doom was all like "If the Titan wishes a figure, he can come in his own box. None shall ride the coat-tails of Doom!"

Speaking of Dr. Doom, he never made sense to me as a child. I always wondered how he could be considered a major, formidable villain when he was just a regular guy in a metal suit - he has no super powers!

Well in addition to being a super genius in direct competition for the title "smartest man on earth," that armor of his is a technological marvel that puts Iron Man's to shame on almost every level. Add into that Doom is also a trained sorceror and was actually second choice for the title Sorceror Supreme. (He was in the same mountains as Strange when he went on his training. It was only chance that he wound up in that monastery rather than the Ancient One's cave.)

He may technically have no super powers, but neither does Steve Rogers, Clint Barton, Wilson Fisk, Johann Schmidt, Nick Fury, Helmutt Zemo, Anthony Stark, or several other high end names.

Plus he has a country he can call upon for resources.

Yeah thanks. I haven't opened it yet but I have all the other figures in the line so far. My brother had these when we were young. I always liked them.

Of course. I already ordered one. I would have preferred a more Kirby-ish design but I doubt we'll ever get one.

Found this guy at Target yesterday. Disappointing that they just did a simple repaint of Kingdom's BW Megatron. Even the Jurassic Park collaborative Tyrannacon Rex apparently has a different head sculpt.

I think even a few Kingdom Megatrons ended up with an angry head sculpt. Defiantly a missed opportunity.

So many things. Haven't gotten anything in months and last week went nuts. Got good amount of classifieds, s7 turtles came in,cConan, figures called warhammer 40000 or something. Got them for custom horde troopers and after messing with them I'm sold and will be buying more as they might be the best articulated figure I ever held. And then a punisher and bike for my classified zartan and making punisher into a nok. What else? Hmm. Seth Rollins create a super star that I been chasing for years for the samurai gear for a custom. Got that at a killer deal compared to what's offered out there. Few display cases for my motu mega construx figs. I spent way way to much money way way to fast. I might have gotten more but I honestly forget. I just know I got lots of crap in the mail and I spent a lot of money.
