Ever since I watched Pixel Dan's review of the first Musculoids (the original rubber ones), I've wanted to get a set, but then I kept worrying about how quickly figures made from pure rubber would break down over time. When I found out about the soft vinyl Musculoids, I finally gave in and ordered the whole first wave.

They look great - as if vintage MOTU had been mashed up with Madballs. They're harder than I thought they would be but they are very, very light in weight. (They must be extremely hollow.) They come with weapons that were obviously cast from ink-pen molds, so I'm not sure how well they will be able to hold them. (I'll probably be giving the one called Murderax an axe from my bin of extra weapons.) They do stand up well, but I think they seem to be mostly for display, since they are so light they don't seem like they would stand up to rough play from children.

DC Multiverse Batman from the Elseworlds Superman Speeding Bullets OGN. I actually like this quite a bit more than the Knightfall Azrael Batman that I picked up awhile back. Possibly because it comes with alternate fists plus a flight stand.

Azrael Batman looking way better on the McFarlane flight stand. Still haven't decided whether I want to repaint it or just resell it.

I've recently been getting into those 5Surprise Mini Brands by Zuru. Bought a few of them, including the last Foodies one that was part of a sale at a Farm & Fleet. These things are so fun!

Got the new Darkhorse Star Wars Hyperspace Stories Jaxxon Annual today. Limited to 2000 I think. I have a thing for Jaxxon. Lol

Also, I started collecting the Hasbro D&D Dicelings and got in the white Owlbear and Displacer Beast. I really love the transformers- inspired designs on these.

I've been picking up some loose Kenner DC Super-Powers figures, since I never was able to get them as a kid. Green Lantern (with battery) came yesterday, and Wonder Woman is coming today or Monday. They both need just a bit of paint but I don't mind doing that. I save a fortune that way with some'a these.
